Hey yall. Just became the proud owner of this 03 Sportivo yesterday. It is in pristine nick, a granny having owned it for the last 4 years. It drives like a brand new car.
I think I've worked it out that she bought it from a friend when it had done 41000k's and traveled only 17000k's in those 4 years. It has 58000k's on it now.
The friend had done the mods of 17" alloys with Maxxis low profile tyres that are still like new, security system and a nice after market exaust system which makes just the right amount of rumble without being too loud. It could be a Genie system, as there is a Genie sticker on the back window.
Unfortunately the friend had left the original factory rims at the tyre shop so I am now hunting down a replacement set. Anyone have any leads for a set of 4 factory rims I'd love to hear from you? The spare wheel has a Bridgestone on it which I'm guessing would have been the factory original. I didn't like the after market alloys at first but they have rapidly grown on me. Now I think they look good on the car. The Maxxis tyres ride real nice too.
I am very impressed with the driving dynamic of these cars. They are so pleasant to drive and leave an impression of wanting more? I also like that they are a bit like a wolf in sheeps clothing. Yeh. I was thinking today as I was driving around that of all the cars I've driven in my life time, I'm 51 by the way, only 2 cars come to mind of leaving a similar impression on me. 1 was a Ford Falcon GTHO Phase 3 that I nearly bought when I was much, much younger, and a Datsun 2000 Fairlady, which I did own for 10 years and have wished many many times that I never sold it.
.
Any way, back to the Sportivo. The original owner got a lot of factory options from new like Tint, interior fabric/leather protection, paint protecton and extended 6 year warranty which only ran out last year.
So yall, I'm proud to say, that's my Sportivo. :+)
Ps Oh, I think I must mention, the granny, Pat, cryed when I drove away with it. She was a lovely lady.
