  1. I know someone who has a 2008 new corolla 1.6L engine. He made a little trick and the shuddering was gone. what he had done was simply unplugging a cable with several wires located in the fuse box.The result extended even bigger and disabled the electric steering wheel and the odometer stopped reading the mailage, as he said. When I heard that I believed that their is still a hope to over come the issue. Something in the engine can be eliminated to get rid of the shaking as the fuse box experiment showed. But what is it? what was the thing that was shutoff with just disconnecting a wire?
  2. yeah exactly! but the shaking comes when I depress the pedal again after the revs hold, the shudder is like when u release the gas with a low gear and suddenly and immediately slam it again! A friend of me has a 2010 Camry with manual transmission. I tried it but I found nothing of this happening. And about the accelerator "hold/lag", is it a system or a device that it's function can be disabled? and how if it is? thank u so much dutchie101 for ur response.
  3. Thank u dutchie for the reply but regarding this, I've asked all new corolla's owners. They say its the car nature and their cars have the same problem!! I used to drive manual transmissions in my whole live but this one is different.
  4. Hi guys, Toyota cars are perfect ( some how ). They make u proud in all cars and driving aspects. but sometimes even with advance technologies, the car may bother u and make u unhappy especially when u purchase a car with your favorite features like here for example (manual transmission). since the very beginning of my driving for my corolla 2009 1.6L engine, I noticed a strange bad phenomenon happening when u shift the gear from one to the other. generally, the car produce a violent shake while shifting. It sounds like the car is releasing the pedal and depressing it again simultaneously. you feel like you are pressing the pedal but for part of a second the car doesn't respond. This shaking also happen in a very notable way at high speeds like launching the car(if you wanna race with someone )especially, when the RBM exceeds 5 .This problem reduces the car acceleration as u need to wait for the car to catch its breath in each sift and that become like riding a horse with the movement back and forth due to this shaking. some one told me that it most likely a controlling system for the fuel flowing to the engine. have anybody faced this kind of problem? and if u did, do u know a way of fixing it or even disabling the cause of the shaking stuff? because I started thinking of selling the car if this problem is unsolvable ( Joking ) I hope u understood the issue.
