    Phat snaps!

This one is funny... my sister made the mistake once of leaving a can of Pepsi in the car. During summer. Parked in the sun. The end result? AWESOME: Not so awesome, the fact that I was asked to clean up the mess. :D still, it makes a great picture. This is my RAH Spawn holding a hot dog eraser. Why? I dunno... probably because hot dogs are delicious! My cat who died T_T WHILE I WAS ON VACATION, just to make it worse. His name is Yolkmontapolkatsim, but we called him Yoko for short, or sometimes Yolk. This one is not so clear (I had more to the series and in high rez but I lost them all >.<) but I like that you can see the pollen specks on his wings... cute :) And finally... this one is surely the "worst" of the bunch as I took it with my phone camera, but I like the composition and reflection... so HERE YOU GO, it's my dad rolling a smoke outside a hardware store.

    JOKES !!!!

Here's a blonde joke (because they are always so lame they're funny :D) Three girls go into a hippy store, a blonde, a red head and a brunette. While browsing, one of them spots a funny looking disk with glyphs carved on the surface. She picks it up and asks the shop assistant - "Hey, what's this?" The assistant says "It's an ancient form of lie detecting. If you tell the truth while holding it, nothing will happen. If you lie, well... you'll vanish." Intrigued, the three girls gather around it. The brunette decides to try it first, holding it in both hands she says "I think I'm the prettiest girl in school." Nothing happens... so she passes it to the red head. She holds it in front of her and says "I think I'm the smartest girl in school." Again, nothing happens. The blonde eagerly grabs the disk and says "I think-*POOF!*" and she vanishes.
  4. There are so many people who get Conned by those emails. Rule number one.... Never give your Personal Information/password out to "ANYONE" EDIT: This includes Internet, email, Netbank login, Paypal, Ebay.. Oh yeah and TOCAU :P Hahaha! Yep. It goes without saying I never give out such details. I feel sorry for anyone who does get tricked, though... you'd think anyone would see through those poorly written emails :S
  5. I don't think I'll ever sell on Ebay. My boyfriend lost a big fat $600 to a scammer. (He was selling his hard to find collectable 12" figures.) It wasn't the scam you're talking about though, it was an individual loser who resells everything he buys. In other words a scalper! I'm ranting, but it still makes me mad to KNOW this guy got the items, 600 dollars, AND got to resell the items he basically STOLE. =_= I hope karma exists. On a similar note, I'm ALWAYS getting scam emails trying to steal my WoW details/account, I think it's funny in a way but you really have to be careful. The poor english is always a dead give away. "Your account is many complains from other players and is suspended in 24 hours unless you reply to this message." <--- YEAH SURE IT IS! Hahaha :D

    Little Rants

This really annoys me. When people are inconsiderate and park right on a corner at an intersection so you can't see what traffic is coming. There is one intersection in particular in the tiny town I live where there is almost always someone parked perfectly to obscure view. You would think they would put some kind of no parking sign up. *shakes fist* I also don't understand why some people will speed up and overtake right before hitting a town where the speed limit is 50km. I guess they have somewhere REALLY important to be when they overtake and then sit on the same speed as everyone else? Hahaha. And as for every day stuff that bugs me, one major annoyance is when I go shopping and come across two people who have stopped for a chat in an isle and they completely block the way yet make no attempt to move aside so others can get through... so rude. I'm certain some of them are deliberately ignoring people too! I mean, how can you miss someone with a trolley standing next to you? "Um, excuse me please!" "Oh, oh sorry... *moves to the side begrudgingly* I didn't SEE you." "Thanks..."
  7. Well the problem seems to be fixed now! The replacement parts were only 35 cents each, so it was much cheaper than expected :D probably a good thing in a way that the mechanic was all booked up because it saved a lot of money :)
  8. Hooray, the parts to fix my car cost just 35 cents each! Happy :)

  9. Yep, strong petrol smell in the cab when I'd start the car! Driving along kind of blew the smell away though. That was the very first indicator that something was wrong... but it was a few weeks before he started losing power and stalling. It's definitely that one injector/pipe in the picture because it's all wet with petrol around it. Thanks for the tip on the forum, I'll repost there too if all else fails :D Thank you Mick! I'll tell my step dad what you said and we'll try it out :D I'll let you know how it goes.
  10. Ah, cool :D Well I would guess there would be no problem then. I wish I had the money to fix up my car, but I'm so poor right now
  11. Howdy doo! Well, I don't know anything about cars or car upgrades but I LIKE THE COLOUR! Dumb question - the lights, are they green tinted, or is it just the way the picture makes them look? And are those legal, because I thought they could get you pulled over o.o I saw a guy get pulled up for having a blue tint on his lights once. Personally, I am always momentarily blinded when someone drives past with lights like that :)
  12. Honestly, my first thought was "That looks like some toy car they'd make out of a shoebox on Playschool!" and then "Heh heh heh... Playschool." It's probably nice to drive and all, but I don't like the teenie tiny wheels and the boxy shape. No doubt good for city driving. *Is glad to not live in a city* :)
  13. Commentsss? The picture is me and my boyfriend holding a cute baby crocodile at the Australian Zoo! If only I could have snuck it home with me... *sigh*

  14. This is exactly what happened to me, although it might not be the SAME problem. It started out with really having to push it to make 70km going up a hill... then I was pushing it to make 40km going up a slight incline and eventually I could hardly make 60km on a flat road! It was a leak in the fuel line / fuel injector, so maybe you have a similar problem. I was also told that your fuel filter can have a similar effect on power, so maybe look into those two possibilities? Still working on fixing my problem, but I hope it goes well for you and you pin down the problem soon!
  15. Poor car! I hope you can fix him/her easily. Maybe you could put a tarp over it in the future to give some protection? It would at least help keep some rain off. My step dad doesn't have a shed to park his ute in so he puts a tarp over the roof and windshield, although that's because it has some leaks... but surely it'd help prevent future rust too? :D
  16. Hi everyone! I just made my account last night but posted in the Workshop and Maintenance / Inside & Out forum first. As I mentioned there my name is Kelly and I own an old 1981 Cressida. I got him second hand (well, of course...) for my 18th birthday and dubbed him Albert. I'm going on 25 now, and I hope he lives FOREVER! (I've been resisting a new car for a long time, no new car will replace my beloved Albert!) I'm from Upper Hunter NSW, and it's raining heaps here. A good and bad thing, because I currently have no LAWN at my new house and the soil is high in clay content so just walking to the mailbox results in an inch of mud stuck to the bottom of my shoes, hahaha.
  17. I took a few pictures of the leaking "thing", so I hope this makes it more clear what the problem is to anyone who can help. There is also a picture of his model number plate. This is apparently fuel injector 5... I know next to nothing about cars but it's like a little hose leading into the engine and there is a 5 drawn on it (but you can't see that in these photos). Do you just yank this thing out and jam in a new one?
  18. Hi everyone! My name is Kelly, and I have a sick car :( This is Albert, my beloved little old car - He's a 1981 Cressida. I hope this is the right place to be posting this question... Unfortunately for me (and Albert) he has a bad leak. My step dad took a look at him and says it's his fuel injector. Our mechanic is all booked up for a LONG time, but obviously having no car is an inconvenience so we're going to have to repair him on our own. The only thing is John (step dad) isn't sure how to remove the fuel injector and we're hoping someone here will be able to help :D As is, he can turn over but idling he stalls. He runs on both petrol and LPG, not sure if that information is important but I'm adding it in anyway! And if you need further information such as exact model number I can grab that too but I'm pretty sure everything on him is stock, he doesn't have any upgrades apart from the LPG tank that I know of. Thanks for your time and in advance for any helpful information!
