  1. I'm not to sure, I'm not even know much on computers and the jagon behind all this. My bro happen to call telstra a few days back due to that we have two phone lines one for net and other for home. Silly how my bro got rid of the old net plan we haf with unlimited net uses plus no problem until this "wireless" came, haven't been on my desktop due to the pages of webpages I'm browzing it takes ages to load, instead I'm using my iPod touch which it's alright yet still slow. Anyway, saw an ad from optus on tv regarding to Internet bundle, *thinking* if it's a good deal or not. Thanks for listening :) have a great weekend everyone :D

No worries, if your looking at plans I'd suggest checking this site out http://whirlpool.net.au/ as you can check if the ISP is available in your area, and set different download limits and such. I use this site all the time to check if I'm on the best current plan, I don't like locking into a long contract as technology always improves.

Umm, just wondering if your on fixed line broadband or wireless? My guess is fixed line with a wi-fi modem. But if your on wireless I've known it to be rather slow and can have intermittent issues in trying to connect

  2. I would like to know why my Internet is slow, no me and bro haven't download anything, only surf the net and that's all. We also planning to get a new Internet provider to but not sure what's good out there, any one has a good Internet provider that it's worth the money and unlimited dl etc thanks :)

Can be many reasons for this, the most annoying of which can be poor line quality. The most common cause is the limit of data has been exceeded but in this case I doubt it. Some more details would be good. As in plan, speed, download limit, whether or not uploads are included. If it is a problem with the infrastructure the ISP you are with will need to fix this.

  3. Thanks for the advice.

I myself do like this style though, and don't care too much if no one else does. Everyone has their own tastes, if we didn't it'd be a boring world.

p.s Wow, I feel like I've climbed a popularity ladder for VF-X to post :D

  4. Well I was able to install the grill today (pretty easy but was still quicker by checking how to do it on this forum)

Only took a quick photo of the grill so its not the best quality but I'm very happy with how it looks

Also have got the interior illumination happening in a cool blue and will at some stage change the rest of the interior globes to blue

  5. If it's the 30th then count me in, day off from work, and will cruise on down :D

    I'm seeing a mini convoy happening :D

Any of the options sound great Pete, count Barb and I in as well for the 30th :) Must admit the steamboat in the city sounds interesting. Not so keen on the Peking duck idea being a fussy eater, but guessing there are plenty of other menu choices?

Well if you's go down we may as well meet up somewhere and form a "convoy" :D

Done! Given you're out in Maiden Gully pick somewhere out your way to meet up and we can head out via the Calder Alternate ;)

Sounds good, I'd probably say the Marong golf club if it's on the way, otherwise there is an IGA in Maiden Gully

  6. Hi,

Nothing too major. Front passenger tweeter grill doesn't sit flush and won't clip in. One of the door cards (trim) wasn't fitted correctly (after the tint job I presume) and there was a missing cover plate that hides the screw that attaches the rear bumper (visible whan you open the boot).

Overall though very happy with car.

    Cheers.

    Stake

    Ah cool, cool.

I'm sure you'll be very happy for years to come. I'm loving my Aurion in Black Mica (hard to keep clean but well worth it imo)

Welcome to the forums mate nice choice of ride :yahoo: How about some pics?

    +1

  8. Good to hear. I was pretty much the same. I googled Aurion aftermarket head unit and found this site. Full of very friendly and helpful people. Also given me plenty of ideas for improving my ride. Good to see some pics mate :)

  9. . An On/Off button for the VSC/TRC system! - Std

. Tyre Pressure monitoring system - Std

    . Interior Illumination L.E.D's - Std

    ACCESSORIES

. Paint protection film for the bonnet/bumper

    . Remote engine start!

. VIP upgraded security system with glass breakage sensors.

Wouldn't mind these things, although if I really wanted the remote engine start I would've forked out and got a sportivo. The On/Off button for the VSC/TRC system sounds nice but I've only had to turn off TRC 3 times, all of which was me being an idiot ;)

The tyre monitoring is nice, but I check them regularly anyway

Would definitely like paint protection film unless it faded the bonnet/bumper slower than the rest of the car, and I'm not sure what security system is standard over here.

  10. Bit late now, but I recently went through a phone dilemma. I was in phases of "Yeh iphone would be awesome, is there any other phone that can do so much"

I finally found the Samsung Galaxy S and I'm the first to admit it's not perfect but a good alternative to the iphone.

If you don't mind me asking, what don't you like about the Samsung Galaxy S?

I'm pretty much sold on getting an Android based phone, my flatmate has a HTC Legend, and I like it from what I've seen of it. I also like how easy it is to make my own applications on Android.

So for me it now comes down to working out which one to get, and I'm open to anyones experiences with Android based phones.

    Thanks.

Well the only thing about the Samsung Galaxy S I don't enjoy is the camera doesn't have a flash considering that a lot of phones do. But I do love the Swype thing where you just swipe your finger across a qwerty keyboard (on screen) and it spells the words for you. I believe that currently no other phone has this. My mate has the latest HTC Desire HD (i think its called) and its battery needs charging every day. With my phone I can go for about 3 days without a charge, and that involves calling, texting (a lot) bit of browsing the net and occasional game.

All in all the battery life sold it for me and the Swype is just the icing on the cake
