take a look at a product called Dynamat..i think thats your best bet for reducing noise. It might not be cheap but from what i have heard its definitely worth it!

have you checked if its plugged in? I had that problem on mine after i got my amp installed under the seat..theres a cable under the seat maybe its not connected right in your case ;)

I want to..Especially with my new wheels coming on. But I think it's clashing with my other meet. Will tell closer to date.
