  1. This section is for submitting guide and tips not for posting question. You won't get many answers from this section. You better off reposting your question in the right section.
  2. I have searched the web to see how to replace auto shifter light bulb but I can’t find any complete video or images for this job. Anyway, I have managed to grasp some basic knowledge from the internet and have attempted to try this out by myself. Fingers crossed, I did it and thought here is the best place to share this information with you guys. Part and Tools require: 1. T5/194 bulb 2. Phillips screwdriver 3. Plastic Trim tool or flat screwdriver 4. 10mm socket 5. Socket extension (optional for screws inside the compartment storage) Here are the few steps require: 1. Detach the auto shift bezel, using a plastic trim tool or flat screwdriver then disconnect the power source connector. 2. Remove the rear console together with the armrest in one piece. You need to remove two mounting 10mm screws inside the rear storage compartment and four screws securing the front portion of the console. (pictures attached) 3. Now you should have the full access to the auto shift light bulb to do the job. (pictures attached) I hope this will help any Corolla owners to replace or upgrade their auto shift light.
  3. That's right. I have these sills without the LED lights fitted on the top of the orignal plastic plates with double sided tape.
  4. Are you sure I can try your cluster? I live in south east Melbourne. Which part of Victoria you in?
  5. Thanks for your response. Will I get the JDM speedometer feature on my Ascent? Light up itself when the ignition is on and dim itself when the sidelight is on. Just want to ensure this feature is available after replaced the speedometer, if not you can't really see speedometer during daylight.
  6. I am looking to replace my existing boring speedometer with white face to a JDM speedometer with black face. This black face speedometer also used in Levin model and it is completely dark when the ignition is off. As soon as the ignition is on, the speedometer will light up itself and dim itself when sidelight is on. My existing speedometer doesn't has this feature, does anyone know whether the Ascent model will be compatible with JDM speedometer?
  7. Just installed the H7R hid kit with 5000k. Here are some pictures. You can look at the hid bulb directly, no problem with blurring on coming cars.
  8. I found this related thread for you. http://au.toyotaowne...nal-light-bulb/
  9. You must get a HID kit specific for H4 bulbs. H4 bulb is for low & high beam, that why your headlight connectors have 3 wires.
  10. Get the media power involved if you aren't getting the satisfied results. I am sure ACA or Today Tonight will be interested to hear from you. You should report this incident to Toyota Australia as well, this kind of dealer should be off the market.
  11. You don't normally see this type car TV commercial in Australia. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BLGj6iSZvak&NR=1 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UDU5W7Zqeko&NR=1
  12. Spotted a blue TRD Aurion park at Monash University Clayton Campus every morning.
  13. Very thoughtful. Always read the product instructions first and if still unsure try on a small area for testing.
  14. I use Autosol Metal Polish to polish all the chrome bits.
  15. For installation by professional then Philips kit at Autobarn is the best option at the moment, For DIY, you can try lasertip method, if you want the automatic on/off switch go to german ebay site, you could pick up one at quite a reasonable price.
