hahaha!!! what hid's did you get for the foggies?

hey all, just put HID's on my car "2005 sportivo" (6000k) i think... got them cheap... just curious of how bright they are cos i've seen a few other cars on the road and they're not as bright as mine.. I've adjusted them (i dont know if i have properly) with the screws on the inside of the light housing but when i drive i get people high beaming me... My old H7 lights werent as birght as this.... The M4 motorway lights up completely.... lol Anyone with HID's on their rolla have the same problem? rice ill put a pic up tonight...

I get at least 700k's per tank (optimax) 05 rolla sportivo... but i use 6th gear a lot...

sweet, just to add another question but is there a diy of how to change powers steering fluid? cos last time i done it in my commodore i kept getting a noise form the pump (may have been air in the lines). and how would i go about resetting the ecu? just undo the battery for a while or unplug the ecu itself? thanks

Hey all, Just some noob questions about when to service certain parts of my car? COROLLA SPORTIVO 2005... bought about 6 months ago and i've only changed oil+oil filter+plugs.. (log books look like bull**** btw) I know the obvioius ones... and what the log book says but i wanna know when everyone else does/doesn't change .. Cheers Coolant (i mean complete flush)..... ??kms Brake fluid (complete flush.. if that's possible/necessary) ??...kms Gearbox oil (change)?... kms power steering fluid (complete flush.. if that's possible/necessary) ??...kms thanks... just worried cos a few mechanics have their own opinions... so what do they change in a major service??? btw... do the sportivos have a timing belt???

hey all, just wondering what they actually change in the major service... - oil, filter, air filter, belts, fuel filter etc... but can someone please tell me exactly cos i might just do it myself and get them to do the hard stuff... Cheers

Prozak. Where did u get it from and who fixed it? Are u in Syd btw? And I've tried not being so lazy lately so the noise isn't that bad... Are the engine mounts common to go cos in 5th when I let go of the accelerator and press it again I get a slight knock....

Hey all, Got a problem thats been ****ting me for about a month now... I've looked all over for anyone else with the same problem but cant find anything... anyways, when im in low gear lets say 4th... and have the aircon on.... and basically get too lazy to shift to 2nd (to keep the revs up) and keep driving i get a very noisy rattle from i'd suspect the ac pump/condenser? It happens at around 2000rpms - 2700rpms. (even in 1st) I know its the a/c cos it only happens when i have the a/c on... Please help me out cos i really just wanna smash the car into a tree right now.. Cheers guys.. 2005 Corolla Sportivo... Just incase..

Hey Guys, Im new to this forum cos i was a mad honda fan.... But honda dont have any good 4door cars..... Anyways.... i'm looking at a 05 corolla spotivo tomorrow with around 100Klms on the clock.... WHAT SHOULD I BE LOOKING AT WHEN I CHECK THE CAR OUT??... Besides REVS, etc..... Is there any way to check if its a proper sportivo by looking at the plates on the car? Any problems known too see if the current owner has thrashed the **** out of it? Thanks heaps!! Rico
