  1. Officeworks have a couple for under $100 each: Navig8r Kaiser Baas you'll find sample videos on Youtube, also look for: Blackvue DR400G-HD DOD GS600 GSE550 and google for their respective websites. Edit: If you have heaps of time, there's an ongoing thread discussing some of them here: http://forums.whirlp...s.cfm?t=1696480
  2. Yes, no worries about the warranty. It will be fixed. However I'd like to know, whether the beeper for the parking sensor is located in the roof lining. If anyone who has parking sensors installed, would like to help, they could do so by : - switch on ignition, may have to engage gear (forward or reverse), - send a person to move past a sensor (front or back), One person in the car seat might want to hold a funnel (rolled magazine or paper) to their ear, pointing at the front centre map light unit (in the roof lining). There are a few slots, which look like a speaker cover. I'd really like to know, if that's the location of the beeper or not. I will follow up with an explanation, when it's fixed. Thanks, guys/gals.
  3. Hi all, I have a few questions about the Parking Assist Sensors circuit: 1. Where is the speaker/beeper located? 2. If the speaker/beeper is disconnected or dead, should I get any ECU indication? 3. If the sensor circuit is physically broken (broken or disconnected wire), should I get any ECU indication ? Edit: No.1 is the one, I'm most interested in. I suspect, it's in the ceiling, front centre map lights combination. Can someone check and confirm this? My circuit stopped working, so I can't check for the beep. Thanks for help 2010 Aurion Touring
  4. Having avoided many arts of wildlife (and collected some) over my time, I can say, that a good loud air horn does a reasonable job of telling roos to get out faster. I found, that kangaroos "usually" make at least 2 final direction changes, when already on the road and in the lights. Best thing "in theory" is, once you realize that a collision is highly likely: dim the lights to low beam, blow the life out of the air horn, brake hard, staying straight until the last moment,in the middle of the road, leaving room to go either way, anticipate the roo to turn back the other way, follow your instinct after that... Most of the time you don't have time to do all the above, lol, but no harm practicing, when you're alone on the road out bush sometime in the middle of the night.
