  6. hi! Im no expert in the field, but I'll share with you my experience. My first official car was a 05 corolla sportivo. When I bought it had very little knowledge and the issues raised were concerning. However at the end of the day it really depends on what you are after yourself. I was looking for P Plate friendly cars that still give power, and I was also a Honda person. Honda's became out of my budget so I then looked around and found the corolla sportivo that runs a celica engine. After owning it for not too long I didn't have too many problems with, small problems that were easily fixed or aren't important enough to be worth fixing. The first big problem was the gearbox, that I struggled to shift during high RPM, after looking around there were lots of solutions available + if you drive it normally there should be not many problems(none I found so far). It's a very good regular drive, it's a 4 door hatch so very good with the family as well. Comfortable leather, lots of goodies inside tbh.. Hope it helps!
  7. Thanks!!! and WILL DO!!! haha, never thought when I bought the car that it'd come with a well known exhaust system!! :D
  8. Hi everyone, I've tried the search and have gotten some results, but not the ones I'm after. I have had my sportvio for a while now and because I bought it from a dealer, they had no clue. When I bought it, it already had a full catback on it already. But after owning it for a while I'm suddenly curious on what branding this exhaust is. I've had a look at it and gotten some friends to look at it and it definitely seems to be a 2.5" catback. The muffler has no branding, nor does the tip. I've seen a few pictures of the CES exhaust and it looks some what similar! That or it's a custom exhaust. So I thought I'd try the forum and see if anyone knows, Does CES have branding on their exhaust systems? Is there somewhere else I should be looking for a branding or logo? thanks!
  9. haha I saw the video before it was on RWJ and I was like OMG OMG OMG!, then after I watched the episode with it on RWJ, I was like... hmm yes it's not as epic as it was made out to be.
  10. also if you go for the cheaper option, if you do cause the accident, there will be a big excess fees! I've heard, either way your going to get chopped by a really high premium every time if your buying insurance for the first time. I would suggest calling up for a quote as it's a lot more accurate than a internet quote, call multiple companies, and just tell them to price match.
  11. Yeah I have the same opinion on that one, just based on the fact they are sort of related. I was a strongly against people putting RED H's on their cars when they weren't a type R, but then I realised, the DC5 in aus isn't a true type R... So I don't mind anymore, as long as you don't go putting a M3 badge on a corolla or something like that? LOL at the pic
  12. Of all places!! and the timing is just so perfect!
  13. daym, these this topic is epic... all about stance!
  14. that's pretty awesome nonetheless!
  15. curious, I sometimes full lock when parking. Is there a big difference between what you mean by 'absolute' full lock and full lock? Just wondering as sometimes I do turn the steering wheel a bit hard, should probably stop doing that.
  16. people not indicating at roundabouts.... drives me nuts!!
  17. dam, never though running E10 could be a potential cause of damage to spark plugs!
