  1. (copy paste from my thread on toyotanation) hi all, ill TRY keep it short and sweet! my 2000 celica is leaking engine oil from the rear of the motor on the driver side ( passenger side for the U.S). the oil drips are quite insignificant at the moment with only a small amount leaking on the garage floor, but a leak is a leak and i want it fixed. ive tried my hardest to find the source of the leak but i just cant squeeze my head in well enough to see where it is coming from as the engine bay with the 2zz motor is pretty tight! the car only has 116k KMS on the clock (72k MILES) and is regularly serviced so it doesnt make that a seal is on its way out already, but from the area that ive isolated it to, it looks like its the crank pulley or seal.... if anybody has had a similiar leak with their 2zz could you please tell me what your problem was. i will be taking the car to a mechanic but i atleast want to find the source myself. also before anyone asks, no the car hasnt had any major bumps or hits to the underside of the car or in general and yes i have checked the oil filter and sump plug to see if they were leaking. many thanks! Andrew
  2. hi ive been following your build for a while now and your latest post has really grabbed my attention. i own a 1999 celica with 110k kms on the clock, the lift bolts on this car have never ( im pretty sure ) been checked/changed. after finding the DIY on this site i feel that im not confident enough/lacking the tools to do it my self. do you have any recommendations as to who i should take the car to, to get the bolts checked+replaced? from what i have read toyota mechanics are kind of clueless to stuff like this. thanks mate andrew
  3. dash lights and tail lights come on and off whenever they want to while the headlights work fine.....very strange and its pretty much exactly the same thing as this guys problem gonna try what he did and screw around with the wiring but im doubting it will work. anyone else heard of this problem because i think its a toyota screw up considering someone else had the exact same problem
  4. they look fugly....hopefully ur car can pull it off
