  1. Hmmm, I was holding off my purchase of the RE001s to get the RE002s instead. However, I am no worried that they will not be available in the 205/45R17 that I want. On pricing, I was having a chat with one retailer last week, and he said he couldn't see any pricing in his system yet. When I asked whether they would be running out the RE001s he said they may do that, or, they may actually price the RE002s lower than the RE001s in order to get them into the market quickly - get them out there. He said availability would be from 1 June.
  2. I have bought myself some Enkei RPF1 17x7 wheels to put on my Corolla Levin (2002 ZZE122). I am trying to work out which will be a better tire size: 215/40R17 or 215/45R17 - it's doing my head in. Things to consider are whether one looks better, whether there are any subtle clearance issues if (when) I drop the car, whether tires are more easily obtained or cheaper in one size vs the other. The 40 profile tires result in a slightly smaller (11mm) overall tire-wheel diameter, the 45s result in a slightly larger (10mm) size. I could also consider 205/45R17 - that's the closest overall diameter to stock (1.3mm), but I figure if I put wheels that are 25mm wider, I may as well put tires that are that much wider. Stock is 195/60R15 Thanks in advance.
