  1. Hi Rulke, Just wondering what the rebuild cost you? I've not had any trannie probs but just curious that's all? Many thanks Phil.
  2. Hi guys, I've noticed since i've been blasting the aircon i've dropped 100km out of my tank I don't know if was maybe I did some shorter extra trips but noticed this forum wondering how much of a difference does it actually make as warmer weather lately hitting melb i've been cranking hard n I drive usually firm usually around 600-650km marker to tank this time 500 Don't recall doing more short stop start trips but might be wrong might keep n eye on it. Maybe it was just a odd ball thing I did also change fuel to v power usually using BP as well. I don't know if that's something to take into consideration. Thanks Phil
  3. Hey, engineering certi would be helpful in regards to the EPA well it depends on how loud you car is I believe there is different db for each car as long as ur under that u should be fine, the certi would cost id think around 700 roughly depending on were u go I was quoted that for a 13bt in a holden gemini conversion and 300 per each re test as long as its satisfactory safe, as in rested for torque of the car and power has and xxx amount of body movement n so forth, I believe it would be maybe worth it if its ur pride n joy but it depends on if its going to fail tests n so forth considered putting some of the stock parts back into it getting test n re putting em back in? much cheaper way if u have the stock parts still. around 8yrs ago awhile ago my mate had cops go over hes car and had alot of dodge **** to hes car n should of been off the rd but still let him off after he produced a engineering certi whoobley seat blown turbo bald tyres maybe just lucky but as soon as the certi was produced it changed them from being harassing asses to not so.
  4. Sounds weird to me, i'd assume if it was battery wouldn't start at all n would be completely dead I reckon you could elimate battery in my opinion.
  5. Hello, Just wondering if anyone has got one from ebay and how is the aftermarket ones, the genuine ones are expensive as I'm looking to go with the cheaper option is it worth it? Thanks Phil.
  6. Yes laser, though I thinking keeping it stock looking start dressing it up a bit too over board then starts catching too many eyes and don't want to attract too much attention as I have to drive it daily and its a fam car as well lol as the Sportivo wheels are designed also for the Aurion. There's one more thing i'm thinking about because your changing your rim size/profile it will effect your speed o does anyone know how much? 215/55 R17 93V sportivo 215/60 R16 95V AT-X I'm don't have much knowledge of that but knowing going up a inch and staying same profile it'd change speed o to say your going slower but your going fast a tad?
  7. He's in Queensland. I'm guessing you're in Victoria? They are the pre-facelift wheels such as these ones: http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/TOYOTA-AURION-WHEELS-TYRES-RIMS-17-INCH-ALLOY-WHEEL-/280705360139?pt=AU_Car_Parts_Accessories&hash=item415b57e10b#ht_500wt_1156 ^ Speaking of which... 19 hours left on that one. Queensland alittle too far lol, I know i've been watching it closely and considering the tread on the tyres are pretty bad surposibly but wheels are good
  8. And also there are two different styles of the sportivo rims arn't there which one is it please?
  9. Hello Steven yes i'm interested what cond are the the rims? and were are u from?
  10. Ok Thanks, Just wanna know what they'd look like now lol I tried googling it and came up with sportivo but not at-x model with rims and they look alright with the silver aurion.
  11. Just wondering what they are worth roughly? and what they'd look like on a silver aurion and if anyone had a pics with em on? or would your money be better spent on aftermarket rims? Thanks Phil.
  12. Buff already done that;) lol always something I keep in mind thanks:) Thanks DJOKR I've seen the sway bars you suggested about 500 roughly for back and front? Would king springs be a better option at 299?
  13. this may sound like a noob question but do they already have one installed? I presume the sportivos and TRD do have them installed I looked at the price on them and they are quiet expensive in my books I've seen on ebay http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Toyota-Aurion-GSV40R-06-on-Swaybar-link-assembly-F-/190487075460#ht_3776wt_1192 are they worth looking at with the AT-X? as a cheaper option would it increase the handling a bit being a AT-X? Thanks Phil.
  14. Hey all, Just wondering where is the best place to start? sway bar, suspension or tyres? Currently got an AT-X 07 with 89k km and I'm not looking at spending a heap of money if I can help it. I've read up on some of the forum part were DJKOR has changed hes sway bar and increased it quiet significantly although I believe he has the Sportivo model which has the better suspension in it anyway, though I'm not looking at putting it on its backside were alot of people want to drive around were its dumped so badly were u hit a bump and u feel it and the cop problems I do not want to have, I just want to decrease the body roll mainly. I'm just looking and the cheapest way to go around it but not the shortcut ways. Many thanks Phil.
  15. That sucks I've used national windscreens for when I've had issues but being such a rare window to break generally get screwed big time sorry to hear that can't they just break the front window instead maybe wreakers might be the way to go like everyone saying if you feel tho you can replace the window urself.
