  1. Little evidence of uneven wear so far Tony
  2. I fitted 4 x DUNLOP SP SPORT FM800 last year. Grip has been good and noticeably quieter than the Bridgestone’s. Bang for the buck at $800 for the set fitted, balanced and alignment.
  3. No photos unfortunately, I ordered a silver radio shroud with the head unit so it's a tidy fit in dash, they used the original camera which looks and works great and the steering wheel controls work as per original. Well worth the upgrade for me.
  4. I had the same dilemma, purchased Kenwood DDX4017BT from Ryda online and had it installed by PPA Car Audio - Eugine 0404 227 942. Great fuss free service, camera works a treat and head unit is more than ample for my needs.
  5. I hadnt seen that before, looks incredible.
  6. As per my last post a month or so back, the GB is of no benefit to me unless you are able to advise a professional installer in Melbourne that can fit at a reasonable cost, retain steering wheel controls and reverse camera.
  7. Hi Virgilc, thanks for your interest. I have added you to the GB list. Could you tell me which unit are you interested? Thanks! GM5164 If there s there anyone in Melbourne that can fit these units professionally and affordably while allowing ongoing use of steering wheel controls and reverse camera? OK, GM5164 also can be add to the group buy, and we will have Android GA5164, which one will you choose? And we don't have professional installer in Melbourne at present, but it is easy to install it, just plug and play, no worry about that. :D Sorry I'm time poor so best you drop me off the list Hi VirgilC, we will have Android unit GA5164, would you like to join? If you find someone that can fit the unit in Melbourne I am happy to join

  10. Interested as well, Is there anyone in Melbourne recommended that can fit these units professionally and affordably while allowing ongoing use of steering wheel controls and reverse camera?
  11. MRJ2028-2 ..... Take that part number into SCA and say i want these, chances are if you ask for blades for an aurion and get some little punk serve you, you will end up with the wrong ones in the form of generic blades. This is the part number for the correct wiper REFILLS made by tridon and from MEMORY(dont quote me) will set you back around $30 or so. They are a rubber blade that is coated in graphite; not the horrible squeaky (but long lasting!) silicone variant which i think you would struggle to find in this style. I have had them on my aurion for bout 3 months and they work great. Gentlemen, Thanks for your valuable posts, as an update for all, Decided to treat myself to a new set of blades after 2.5 years, rang Toyota dealer here on the Sunshine Coast and was told "$16.80".....for the set I enquired..."no that's each so $33.60 for a set". Couldn't be bothered explaining that their price is a 98% mark up on the RRP of Toyota. Rang Super Cheap, "sure mate come down, we have them $15.48 for a set, and we can fit for an extra $3" To good not to enjoy, Tridon blades wipe beautifully, no noise at all. Moral of the story...Toyota dealers don't seem to want to provide parts for people seeking value for their hard earned. I have 1 service left on the fixed cost service plan and think its time to start shopping for an alternative mechanic who can look after my pride and joy.
  12. Did you have any problems with factory reverse camera or steering wheel controls Drew?
  13. I am keen to be their second customer if you can find one that's good
  14. Nice spreadsheet Fallout, great to see your first tank at peak consumption!! Welcome to your Aurion My best is 8.03 worst is 11.0 (first tank), after close to 2 years average consumption is 9.92l/100k
  15. Great work sakana, I have been trying to work out how to get a similar setup with use of a Nexus 7, really like your use of the Clarion head unit, makes a lot of sense and utilises a waste of console space. I am very interested to know if you were able to maintain; - steering wheel controls, - factory reverse camera, - Bluetooth connectivity. The GUI and lack of user function on my 2011 head unit reminds me of technology from the 90's, I now see the light at the end of the tunnel for Aurion owners.
  16. Nearing 12 months with my baby now, fuel economy continues to impress me, has averaged 9.92ltrs/100klms from 12,000klm travelled All but 2 tanks on 91 unleaded..
  17. You got me thinking, if you can get the paint to stick, some interesting options.....
  18. I was getting 6.8ltrs/100 @ 100 -110kph with 4 in car and a bootful of luggage this weekend. First long highway trip, much better than I was expecting. And the same, once we hit the Gold Coast the number climbed into the 9's. All in all very impressed with power / economy potential
