the CAI is your best bang/buck mod.

go see our mate bruce @ www.trdsales.com and pick up a TRD CAI will set you back around the $450 mark (depends on the exchange rate) there is a good 5+ kw right there. I was lucky and got 6kw going tonigh with a better filter so ill post results see this thread

the new grea knob is meant to be heavier then the old one someone explained in a preivious post that the increased weight helps with the gear box issues

its an 02 model with 03 plates if we are going to get picky :D and i was only 1kw off :P

the new 04 Corollas seem to have more power then the 02 model, when i got mine done there was another Corolla there an 02 model and it got 78 (i think) it was about that. Other thing is that mine has just done 6000km and most of the dyno's around the forums have been done a bit later in life. Blue_Sportivo_VVTLi: after looking into it more and talking to the guys that were doing the dyno, the new 2004 software Dynamics Software is a bit diff to the older ones so thats why we were thinking the results were dodgy but now Im pretty sure they are pretty spot on

I know this would be ideal but somtimes you just cant do it, as for the 5th gear it would be running the dyno @ over 220km/h prolly more??

unless you get an ECU upgrade ie unichip/power FC there is no need to tune the care. So unless you are really looking at spending some cash then there is really nothing that you can do. :(

**WTB** stivo gear knob. (yes i know it says 6+R and i only have 5 but its a nice knob) :D

was $73.50 for the day ( 9am-3am ) and we could have as many runs as we liked as there was only 70 cars, I went 13 times a few of the other guys with propper race cars went up to 25 times.
