  1. Hi all Well i decided to purchased the DAS 6 for myself, and used it yesterday on my wifes car. Its a 2002 Subaru GT Forester, silver in colour. I first washed it using the two bucket method, dried it and then used a clay bar. I thought at that stage after using the clay bar, the paint was slick and smooth. But then I pulled out the big guns, the DAS 6. I only used the fine cut Menzerna polish which came as a package with the DAS 6. The pain correction finish I achieved was incredibly amazing. I can now see some very fine blemishes in the paint, which were obviously there during the time it was sprayed in the factory. By this I mean, fine specs in the paint . Now that i've used the DAS 6, Im gonna use it on my brand spanking new Pardo. The only thing I didn't do on my wife's car was hit it with the Dura Gloss 2 step polish, which i've already used on my Prado. That in itself is a great product to use. Stay tuned for more. Cheers Ange..
  2. Greetings all Can anyone please offer some advice about the DAS-6 random orbital polisher from Car Care Products. For those who have one, is it as GR8 as the price suggests ?? It is expensive, however looks very very simple to use, as per their video. I would like some honest feedback if its worth its price tag. I don't mind spending the coin, if its bang for bucks and simplicity to use, warrant the cost. I purchased a new Prado back in June, and want to really make it shine. Cheers Angelo
  3. HI all I used the Rug Doctor on my second car, and hired it from Bunnings. All I can say is **** me (can I say that), it worked a treat. You do have to go up and down many times for a clean result. The only down side is that you have to also buy their shampoo and anti foam products. I purchased the small bottles only. Cheers Ange..
  4. Greetings all I have found a web site in Australia (carcareproducts.com.au), who sell a vast variety of car care products. I purchased the DURAGLOSS Polish Bonding Agent and the DURAGLOSS Total Performance Polish. It is a two (2) stage treatment, and all I can say is WOOOOOOOOOOOW. There are how to videos, which demonstrate the above system/application. There are many things which I learnt from the site, and in particular, not applying products in a circular motion, but in a straight line. Way to remove bugs/tar etc using a clay bar, and the list goes on. Visit the website, watch the videos, and you will see what I mean. Cheers Angelo
  5. Hi there Now now, don't be cheeky. The ute was used for pleasure. I was sad to see her go, honestly. It was a great truck. Mind you it was the sports model, with climate control, self levellising suspension, driving lights, side steps. Well you get the point. Cheers Ange
  6. Greetings to all A short opportunity to say hi, and to introduce myself. I picked up my new Prado D4D last week, and she's a beauty. I traded in my 2005 SsangYong Musso Sport diesel. Before you all laugh, it really was a gr8 ute, and with all the mods done, would blow away rodeos and hilux's. But that was then, and this is now so I look forward to an informative forum as was the last one I was in. Cheers Angelo.
