  1. Have you still got the BC's? I have pedders springs ATM. I want the performance of full coilovers. If you still have them, wanna sell?
  2. Ive used it many times. Feels a bit more responsive when I've used it in my stivo. Response wins over consumption in my books
  3. I'm doing it on Saturday so I'll let you know how long it takes. Hoping for 3 hours out, clean up and back in
  4. I wouldn't change the clutch for the hell of it. I've done about 10 gearbox changes in my mates track car and I still hate doing it. I'm not just gonna pull mine out for fun. He said slipping so there is a reason, don't be a tight ***** and pay the 350 or do it yourself. Dnt forget oil and clutch parts, and u shouldn't get done clutch fluid cause you don't have to take off the slave cyl. I don't even know who you're talkin to now

  6. Cheers for all the feedback. I bought the car 12,000kms ago and the clutch was sticky and now it has started to slip (probably compounded from the occasional spirited drive) Standard clutch has done 90,000. I'm looking to use it as my modern regularity car this year, I don't think the clutch would hold up too long with some track work. So I'm upgrading
  7. Hey Guys, Need to replace the clutch in my Rolla. Have heard that its a complete and utter headf**k. What I've been told is, that essentially you have to remove the whole K-frame to do this. Anyone on here replace their own clutch and can give me some of their wisdom? Anyone had a mechanic do it and has a ball park labour figure? Any advice would be appreciated Cheers in advance
  8. I use Federal 595 RSR. Super grippy tyre and feel great on the street. Nice and quiet, plenty of grip when cold and amazing after a bit of harder driving. In saying this, each to their own
  9. I have the first one and it fits my ZZE
  10. I think it looks awesome! Hopefully Aus gets a turbo model
  11. If it was occurring before the service, why would it be the filter?
  12. Sorry after fascia in standard colour
  13. Hey All. Lookin for a few things. 1. Am after a 123R climate control fascia 2. 2nd hand ZZE coilovers 3. ZZE123R Factory headunit That's all i can think of so far Any help would he appreciated. Cheers
  14. depends how you drive it/how its been driven before you drove it. clutch adjustment and new oil should fix that I've had mine for a few months so i don't know its history really. Mine will not select 2nd,4th over 5000ish RPM (never needed to change that high into 5th or 6th) and wont go into 3rd gear over 3500-4000RPM. I hate it, it annoys me more than anything. What clutch do you run? Recommended gearbox oil weight? Anyway to fix this issue without a rebuild?
  15. is it even possible to stay in lift with the factory crunch? The gearbox is terrible
  16. Well if it doesn't force induction why buy it instead of a standard pod-type filter?
  17. Sounds pretty awesome. Would love to see one. But correct me if i'm wrong, if it forces induction wouldn't it effect the standard fuel map? Therefore, a tune would be required to ensure the AFR's are safe.
  18. So, ZZT231 Celica pads will fit my Sportivo? I want a pad that will perform on track but is also tame enough to effectively work on the street. So i'm looking for a pad that can handle the high temps of track use and also work effectively on the street. Cost isn't really a huge issue if i know they are going to perform. QFM would be good but i don't know if i'd like to 6 weeks everytime i want new pads. Would rather find a pad that i can buy off the shelf for convenience.
  19. Aren't all Sportivos South African-made anyway? When i got a mechanic mate to look into pricing EBC pads he got told that they didnt have any that were compatible for South African models, only Japanese models. Apparently any Sportivo with a VIN starting with AHT is a South African delivered model. But now I'm not sure. From what I am aware, all Sportivos that were sold here were made/assembled in South Africa, whereas the Ascent/Conquest/Levin etc were made in Japan. Well there you go. Anyone have a sportivo with a VIN starting with anything but AHT? Anyway, what pads do people recommend for street/track use? Really wanna take her for a few laps at Mallala but am lacking in braking ability to stop from 200+km/h into the back hairpin lol.
  20. You think they're good? You should step un to the 595RSR's. OMG! They are AMAZING! Best bang for buck tyre i have ever bought!
  21. Nor have i. Has there even been one? We need to organise one. Set a date and start inviting haha. It's the only way it's gonna happen. Even if noone else comes atleast there will be 2 rollas on the cruise hahaha
