  1. Nice car man. A lot better than my 1990 Integra i got as my first car (i still have it as a daily). My supra is only my second car and its already got some serious kit in it, so i have a lot to learn. You will also have fun learning exactly how to go about modding your car. Cant wait to see it with some wheels.
  2. Some down the track mods include LED rear lights, de lined headlights with colour matched housing and possibly an aftermarket spoiler. I am happy with performance for now but as i get better at driving the car i might consider going to BPU+ or even APU specs (new turbos for more boost, engine modifications to handle the extra boost e.t.c) but thats a way down the track just now.
  3. Im not sure, i dont think i can drive it interstate because of the restrictions in other states. I am mainly using it for long cruises down south from Perth to Busselton and the like (i guess you could say im using it as a GT type car). It is an absolute pleasure to drive. I never actually thought i would want to drive purely for the sake of driving, but this car has shown me how lol. Still, i dont think it is possible for me to unlock this beast anywhere other than the track (Drag or circuit), because at normal road speeds i dont even hit the RPM required to engage the second turbo (and i am not keen on speeding/fines/looking like a hoon). Thanks!!. Yeah i was stoked, the seller originally wanted 16.5K but i got him down. The car itself is under 100,000kms but it is getting close to it so a big service coming up at X-Speed for me lol.
  4. Hi!! Correct no P Plate restrictions. Also: First few things i want to do is get an audible warning tone for leaving lights on when the engine is off and door open e.t.c (found out the hard way it doesnt have one :S), also a new speedo that goes higher than 180kph (My supra is J-spec) and the ECU swapped out to remove the governor on it (i read about pulling the TRAC fuse but i have the auto and want my traction control) because i am keen on entering in the street class at Kwinana Motorplex.
  5. Hey all, Thought i would contribute my new ride. Only had it a couple of weeks and already am learning a lot. Its probably a bit above what i "should" start with but i am a patient person and i dont mind investing time and money into my learning how car parts, mods e.t.c work properly so i dont screw up too bad. Also i think that if i treat the car with respect, it will respect me back :) As for the P plate i am not some 17 year old kid who thinks he is 10 foot tall and bullet proof, however i am only on my way to mid 20's, so please dont judge me based on stereotypes thanks :) Here is what it has: Tein S-Tech Springs. Apexi Power Intake Pod Filter. Hybrid GT Spec Front Mount Intercooler. HKS SSQ Blow-off Valve. Greddy Boost Cut Controller. Greddy Profec B II Electronic Boost Controller (Running 15psi boost). X-Force 3" exhaust. Speedy 18" Graphite Gunmetal Machine Rims with 65% tyre treads. Hi-performance car battery. Silver Bezel gauges. Supra OEM floor mats. Autowatch Alarm system with Turbo timer & remote engine off. Window Tint. Painted front lip. Eclipse AVX 5000 DVD/CD/MP3/WMA player with 7" Touch Screen LCD with video input. Eclipse 4 channel Amp, 6" MB Quartz splits and Alpine 12" subwoofer. Enjoy EDIT: i got rid of the boot shade you can see in the second photo lol.
  6. Hey all just registered. Looking to learn a hell of a lot about cars in general now that i have a MKIV twin turbo supra. I know little bits and pieces but im mainly in I.T, so this should be a fun learning experience.
