Side skirts and rear extension will fit your updated model. Front lip won't.
-
I think DIY would be very straightforward.
Maybe we should do a group buy...
-
There was a guy selling aftermarket for ~220 on eBay as well.
-
If you know nothing about electronics....and want to convert you dash to LED's..I suggest you go to Autobarn they sell premade 2.5 mm units. They are are made to be used as wedge bulbs but can be modified to fit the stivo setup ..
Can you explain how they need to be 'modified'?
-
Yeah, I've got my red central console done ~!! :D
It looks cool ~!! :D
Thanks everyone who had given a piece of advice or even comments....Thanks heaps...
Otherwise, I'm really sure I couldn't get it done.
Did you use red covers for the bulbs? Does it come out dull or as per the stock green brightness?
-
Nice!
Thorpy says it's fully sik!!
-
Great choice. Wonder if you'll feel the power difference that much.
The full bodykits nice, but I would delete the spoiler. Looks better in my opinion.
-
Hey Kev, where did you manage to get your hands on a levin kit? Ive tried a many of times and could not locate. I rang some dealers in Syd and they said that its not sold seperately. Sorry Im not much help.
Lucky I guess. Found someone with a Levin who wanted to get an aftermarket front lip, so I brought this one off him.
You should be able to get it though I reckon as any spare part can be ordered. eg for repairs etc

I've including a picture of the little tabs that come out of the lip for those that aren't familar. Slits need to made in the bumper to accomodate these.
If the Sportivo don't need these, I'm now thinking maybe it's possible to just cut these tabs off and use adhesive tape? It will still be screwed on from the bottom as well. Is that how its done with the Sportivo? Someone tell me if they think it will work.
-
these slits you talk about is interesting! i thought you just use adhesive tape and screw the two pieces on using the screws that are already in the front bar.
i recommend jr auto concept in box hill if you want a professional to do it at very competitive price. you will always find jap modified cars there like corolla and civic to name just a few.
Not sure about the Sportivo lip, but hte Levin definately needs about 6 slits cut into the front bumper so that the top of the lip 'hooks' on. Then you screw on from the bottom. I thought the same and orignally wanted to do it myself.
I know I'd have to pay more if I go through a Toyota dealer, but I wanted to go directly to the panel beaters they use, as they'd probably charge more or less the same as any other panel beater, but at least I'd know they've done it before. I'll give JR a try if I can't track down a beater.
You've got me thinking now. How come the Sportivos don't have these 'slits' to hook the lip on. If you screw it on from the bottom only, isn't the top part of the lip not very attached?
-
I just want someone who knows what they're doing with this particular lip. Once slits are cut into the front of the bumper, there's no going back... If anyone can recommend a good joint in Melb, that be great.
-
I've managed to get my hands on a Levin front lip. It's already painted. I assumed I could fit it myself, but then realised I would need to cut slits in the bumper to install it.
Can anyone recommend a place where I can get it installed? Otherwise, I think I'll just call up a Toyota dealer to see who they use as they would be experienced in doing this already.
Also, anyone got any idea how much it will set me back? Just don't want to get taken for a ride.
Cheers,
Kev

hey does anyone know if you can have numbers at start and tru the letters?
Not in Victoria.
-
Looks nice. Do you have side skirts and front lip as well?
-
Its the plastic thing near your mirror panel, mine keeps vibrating, the only vibration i get in the car. Comes in handy for two buck coins when cruising around St'Kilda.Love you Long Time!!!!!!
The one srr is talking about is different. It holds pens and coins and replaces the ash tray. I saw a pic of it last time, but can't remember where it is now :P
-
Mine's like northy's - nothing like the front
Oh yeah on another topic - tried to reply to your message P’¢¡%T but for some reason couldn't due to the name? - Anyway - I don't have personalised plates.
Nah, the PM did come through.
Just that I saw another Silver Corolla with 17" Adrenalins. Thought it could have been yours as I remembered seeing it here.
-
when you say drip do you really mean dripping? or a constant stream of water. Cause mine pumps it out rather fast
Yeah, constant stream. Guess mines all good then. Just wasn't sure as I've never had a hatch before. Thought it was suppose to spray like the front nossles.
-
On the hatch, is the nossle above the rear window for the wipers suppose to 'spray' the water (ie spread like the front) or just cause water to 'drip' down from it?
-
Needs rims B)
-
that guy is selling his front bumper,
do you guys think it's Toms or a replica?
No way to know from the images I reckon. Replica would most likely be fibreglass making it less flexible and more fragile, so you would be able to tell that way if you see it in person.
Does it say somewhere that he is splitting up the items?
-
Looks very nice!
btw, what happened to your foggies?
-
they are the stivo seats but they are not leather thats the only diff
Oh yeah, they actually came standard with all the Corollas after March '03.
-
Ain't that many active members, but of those who are, they post quite a lot so it's all good.
Which Corolla model do you have?
-
the same as the previous model, the face lift gets the stivo seats and thats about it.
Are the Sportivo seats you mention just the 'sports' seats or different.
