I have dealer warranty from Jefferson Ford as Factory warranty expired 29th of July, if they diagnose a problem what's the chances of getting this fixed for free? Thanks give em a call and find out. Hi 450hptonne What do you mean dealer can fix without replacing the part? Not sure if I have the same issue as I can't feel the knock but feels heavy and a bit hard when turning in my aurion presara. Cheers The dealers can now fix the noise without part replacement. In your situation, I would expect it can be fixed at no cost to you. But only the dealer will be able to tell you something you can be sure of.

Got my VVTi controllers replaced recently, service supervisor advised some ppl don't replace this as it has no affect to the car only the start up noise. Reason why some ppl don't like getting this replaced is due to the engine being removed for the VVTi's to be replaced. The new revised parts are guaranteed not to have the start up noise, so far so good for me.

Thanks for the reassurance I will keep existing unit and purchase portable DVD player for my little man!

yeah I agree I won't worry about it too much, was interested in the DVD as I have a newborn and more less wanted it for entertainment for the little fella! My just look to get a portable rather than changing the head unit. Is it possible to get the LX570 head units into our cars? I mean is it a straight fit?
