  3. Hey all, I'm after a cold air intake kit for a 2005 Toyota Corolla Sportivo (facelift version). If anyone has a used/new one (AEM/Injen/TRD) that they don't need, please let me know.
  4. This could be due to the way in which the "drive-by-wire" throttle works compared to a cable-driven throttle.
  5. It's a GroupX if it has: - plastic trim on B & C pillars - tachometer - headrests for rear seats - nicer looking trim If it doesn't have the above, then it's a Life.
  6. What springs & shocks do you currently have in the rear? For shocks, I would suggest KYB Excel-G.
  7. I put the stock front end & rear hatch back on since I will be getting it resprayed early next year. I'm going for a similar colour change like the "British Racing Green" found on E39 BMW 5-series.
  8. Lack of: - manual transmission - RWD/AWD - turbo
  9. Definitely a lot more responsive than the original 55kW engine. As for the R1Wurks pulleys, there's not much of a noticeable gain probably just a few kW's at the most.
  10. Thanks. Getting the blacktop in there required a fair bit of custom work mainly being the engine mounts, driveshafts and wiring. Other than that, the hard part of the engine conversion has been sorted. Engine has been driven for 18,000kms so far without any major issues.
  11. Hey everyone, here are some old pics of my 1997 Toyota Starlet “Life”: Engine: - 4AGE 20V Blacktop - HKS extractors, 2" mandrel bent exhaust - R1WURKS under-driven/lightweight alternator & water pump pulley - K & N Pod Filter enclosed in custom airbox Gearbox: - AE111 C56 Suspension/Wheels: - Whiteline front & rear swaybars - Whiteline anti-lift/castor kit - 14” Watanabe F8 wheels I also had a 1992 EP82 Starlet as well, but I sold it earlier this year in order to just have one project car to finish off.
  12. Hey, I've been a member here for a while now and haven't really introduced myself. My name is Tom and I've owned a 1997 Toyota Starlet for about 4 years now. I used to own an EP82 1992 Toyota Starlet GT but sold it earlier this year.
  13. Thanks for the replies. I'll have another look at it over the weekend.
  14. Just have an issue with my dad's 1994 Camry Vienta V6. It currently has 156,000kms. The radiator has been replaced 2 times due to the top tank leaking. Straight after replacing the radiator, we've used Toyota coolant and bled the air as usual. Problem goes away for about 1 year then, the top tank begins to leak again. There are no overheating issues as the temperature needle stays on halfway when at operating temperature. The thermostat has also been replaced. I've narrowed it down to the thermofan switch. I've noticed that when the car is started up [even when cold] the thermofan spins slowly and I've never heard it kick in. Just need a few opinions on this issue and whether or not anyone else has had similar problem.
  15. I've been browsing these forums for a while now and it's about time I introduced myself. I'm Tom and here's my 1992 EP82 Toyota Starlet [GT] The specs for this car are: Engine: - 4EFTE engine [done 91,000kms] - 2.5" stainless steel mandrel bent exhaust from stock cat-onwards - Apexi SAFC 2 Suspension: - Front KYB adjustable shocks, Rear TRD adjustable shocks - Front/Rear aftermarket lowered springs
  16. I'm after an airbox off 1997-2001 SXV20R/MCV20R Camry. Willing to pay for postage if interstate. Does anyone have one?
