  1. So I put my 2010 KX-R FWD in for it's 42 month / 70,000 km service today. I've been very happy with the fixed price servicing for the last 3 years. The car hasn't skipped a beat since I've owned it, but to be told the service cost is now $310, a touch more than the $170 I think I'd been paying seems a bit rich. The girl behind the counter had a list of optional extras I assume she had to quiz me about, with wheel balance highlighted. She asked if I knew when I had it last done. I replied, when you fitted my new tyres six months ago. I guess their record keeping could use some work, no more questions after that. So the question is, is this a reasonable price to pay for my servicing? The list of checks looked just the same as the last two services... any thoughts?
  2. Sure can, I bought mine aftermarket of ebay, I'm rocking a silver KX-R MY11 model so I got black racks and rails, looks great, a lot better than the silver rails I've seem on some of the KX-S models getting around. Took me about 1/2 an hour fiddling around but no real issues fitting the rails. I got a package deal with rails and cross bars, used to support a big Thule luggage pod. Travelled from Melbourne to Brisbane and back in Jan 2012, Melbourne to Darwin in Dec 2012. Haven't had any issues with the rails or crossbars in two years. http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Toyota-Kluger-Roof-Rails-Cross-Bars-Package-Deal-/321066706227?pt=AU_Car_Parts_Accessories&hash=item4ac1112533&_uhb=1 The seller is called e-market-2008. It cost me $270 two years ago, they've dropped in price. Can't fault them. Cheers, Mark
