  1. o2 sensor near the cat & what fuel are you using
  2. Don't buy ramps their not stable and might not give you clearance on the front bar, buy a garage jack for about $300 or something and do it properly. You can jack from the chassis rails or sub frame, I jack it from the center of the sub frame & then place 2 jack stands on each side
  3. The higher the octane level the higher the flash point (blowing up) Wouldn't recommend using E10 fuels which most 91 is always see heaps of corrosion on the fuel regulator intank. I use BP Ultimate but octane can also help clean engines So use either 95 or 98
  4. Luke any tips on pulling rear seat and the filter out? The seat do you just pull or theres clips with 10mm bolt? I've done many fuel filters on Honda's but never on a corolla with a strange look 2pc filter. Very easy and took me 20mins to replace the new one.
  5. Terry shields ... I'll have a look next week saturday try to attempt if I think its too hard ill just take to chatswood toyota
  6. The ZZE has a different fuel filter from the ZRE The ZRE fuel filter looks very odd
  7. I'm work at honda atm Toyota screwed me over once never again thats why I wanna just do the servicing myself
  8. Hi, I'm planning to do the 80,000km service on my car just wondering has anyone done the in-tank fuel filter for this? I already brought the fuel filter but it seems to be different from all the other cars that I've done so far. I brought the filter filter assy (TO-7702412050 PLATE SUB-ASSY EG07) I still can't find any workshop manual online either. Couple of other questions too. How much grams of gas is use to re-gas the a/c system? How many years before changing the "pink" coloured coolant (TOYOTA SUPER LONG LIFE COOLANT) What size sump plug washer/gasket? Does anyone know where I can get the ZRE152R Toyota Corolla 2008 service/workshop manual? Is there a special way to remove the rear seat to access the fuel filter?
  9. Looking for one to keep not to rent, just to read when I'm free
  10. Hi Everyone, I was looking everywhere for the workshop manual but can't find a softcopy online. Does anyone have a download link for it? Or know the price for a genuine Toyota one roughly?
  11. I replaced the oil and oil filter on my car about 4months ago with 10w40 repsol oil. I've topped up 200ml within that time ;) The dealer screwed me over so I'm not going back there but they were using 10w40 Castrol Magnatec. Apparently from what Toyota says they were ripped off from the Genuine flat fee servicing they now are using Toyota Genuine 10w40 made by "toyota"
  12. I tried to re-clean the throttle body and Idle control valve but I can't find a valve hole. Does anyone have photos or exploded diagram of the throttle body+idle control valve
  13. If anyone knows whats wrong or where to start looking...? I'm going to take the throttle body and idle control valve apart and clean it
  14. Did it happen after a Fuel Injection clean service? or did it happen just by itself?
  15. Hey Guys, Been trying to find out for a while now and read many of the posts already. I normally take my car in for servicing at Terry Shield Toyota at Granville and the last service has put me thinking. It was a 60,000km service + Fuel injector cleaning The idle will sit normally after warming up and fluctuate near the indicator lines on the tacho gauge. Took it back to get it re-checked they wrote down "Cleaned Airflow Sensor + Throttle body - All ok" Still fluctuates.. and never has till this last service. What should I do, read alot about Throttle Body, Air Leaks, Idle Control Valve, etc Car has only done 52,000km
