  1. thanks heaps Trent, it seems the ct20b is what im looking for i have noticed that hilux's have ct20's in them is there an actual difference between a ct20 and a ct20b or is this just another code name picked up for identical to ct26
  2. Hi there, Lately ive been going through forums trying to suss out benefits and downfalls between turbos and from what ive found people are using these four different turbos. ct26 ct20b(ct26II) T3 or T3/T4 GT2860RS i realize that going with the ct26 is sufficient up to 12psi and is direct fit to 3sgte manifold not sure if i can with ct20b im really not sure if i want to be going with high boost all the time so my question is . Is there a turbo that would suit low to medium boost another thing i know that i would need an adaptor for the t3 and garrett setups and was wondering if that would hinder the placement of everything. lastly i found a writeup where he fitted his fmic under the bar but was not sure what people with air con would do when fitting this because of the condensor assembly, i have air con but defo want the intercooler. and yes i realize there is alot of supporting mods as to which turbo to choose but i am not too picky counting costs would be bad inspiration and i would try my best to find the right setup for the turbo i end up using. any info is greatly apreciated Dave
  3. Hi there as far as the paintwork and rims go the paint depends on how far gone it is in general you could use a swirl remover to try and remove this but if its worse then a cut and polish something a bit more "rough" I work at supercheap and we have a range of meguires that have an indicator on the bottle so you can choose accordingly so dont quote me it all depends on the state of the paint as for the rims steel wool can be used to get rust off but it needs to be the finest grade of steel wool and use warm soapy water if you go "rough" it will scratch them up bad either way if you can avoid using the steel wool do so if it has no rust you could stick to a good clean while your washing your car (with car wash) with a seperate Mitt/sponge/pad then either Mothers or Meguires Mag wheel polish to shine and somewhat protect them Rough meaning co.ar.se. hope that helps Dave
