  1. Hey guys, can't decide on whether to upgrade to 18s wheel package or buy new set of tyres. If i buy new tyres, for 17s and good brand it'll be around 220 per tyre, if i upgrade to wheel package it should be 1300. What do you think?
  2. I didn't know the H7 bulb sells for $25-29 per bulb and that's the cheaper version. Since when do they get this pricey?
  3. I thought the petrol component cuts in after a certain rev/speed? If so at the start you'd only be using the electric compoment. If the maximun combined power is not at a single poing in time, how would the power/torque look like?
  4. The max power has to be when the max eletric power cuts over to the petrol. So if the your figures are correct immediate after 4500rpm. At the cutover the power from the electric (105KW) would have to be added to 46KWs of the petrol power to make 151Kws. Question is, is it always the case of electric first then petrol after certain rev? I fanged a 2010 Hybrid before and thought it was very weak and laggy. Not sure if the actual power is when you drive on the highway but from short sprints i didn't feel 151Kws.
  5. Congrats on the purchase, supperb car looks and ride! While you doing the rings, why not do the HID kits (both low and fogs) :)
  6. Nice to know about the 1K, would this be including shipping or just the cost of the bought items? Does anyone know if the TRD 19" Aurion wheel fit the Camry and how much are they worth at the dealers?
  7. The oem one is 35W and it's far too dim for my liking. I suppose it's time to make use of my HID kit...too lazy to put them on.
  8. Can someone pls confirm. The manual has H7 low beam, would the H11 bulb fit or should it be H7 bulb? I notice there is a difference between H7 and H11. http://www.ledoption.com/eBay/Listing/HID_Sys/HID_bulbs-2.jpg I assume the ballasts are the same for both..
  9. I thought you could use H11s? Anyway i got my kit a while back but due to the type of use for the car, i decided not to install atleast for now. Has anyone got brighter H7s ie 100w?
  10. It's a V6, engine is old, it's also heavier.
  11. Buy no one has the Hybrid that goes yet (have you heard of anyone?), and if it goes what goes with it? The unknown will either be pricey or non-pricey, you'd hope the former.
  12. That's why it pays to buy near new. Not sure how the Hybrid system plays out when the Ks mounts interms of reliablity and cost to repair, but for normal Camry anything up to 50Km is VERY acceptable to buy.
  13. That's a good price i recon, not sure what the Original Poster paid for his MY12?
  14. I just looked on carsales and found Presaras to cost over $50K Sportivo easily best looking but they are nudging $50K. Imo it's too pricey. 18s should be standard on Sportivos/ Prasara. B)
  15. Could it be something else like brakes/wheel/disc?
  16. Sometimes when i brake during gear changing time the computer is in two minds and the downshift happens but with a big "pull-back" for a noticable time. There is no thud sound though just a rev/exhaust sound.
  17. I was gonna say about no indicator on the camry mirror. I wouldn't mind fitting them if they fit. Thanks dinh, but i have already gotten the mirror.
  18. Spot on, i got the mirror but wating to confirm if i needed the cover. It's not rear view mirror, that's the one above your head in the center lol.
  19. I'm hoping it will be under 150. Lets so, how much when i see them first thing tmr.
  20. Wreckers says they have to order new. So i rang dealer they say it can be anything from $50-400. Does anyone know the difference between AT-X and Prasar mirrors?
  21. My dad's car got swiped but some idiot, if anyone has one for sale (or know where to get one) i'd be very interested. It's a Silver 2008 AT-X. Thanks,
  22. How about "better" for the wallet, or more to the point "better" for the wallet when you go to fuel up your car? Obviously I bought a Camry over a Corolla for a reason and that reason might be personal one but if fuel prices keep on going up and up to say 200c or more what then? In NSW there was a recent time with 98 going for around 190 cents+. No matter how you drive your car, it still consumes fuel and at the end of the day unless you're on good income you're gonna feel it. (Btw, i'm using Windows 8 CP and not sure why I cannot go down to new line to start a new paragraph so I just continue if you don't mind). Back on topic whether to use E10 or PULP to me i'd use PULP - 95 unless 98 is cheap. I have only used E10 once when the price was really really high.
