Hey guys, I've sold my corolla a few months back and I've had these final parts laying around my garage for a while. Here's what I got: (All parts fit the 03/04/05 Corollas, I had an 05 Conquest) 1. Daiyama Coilovers (I bought these Coilovers from another member (M&M/OH84BY to be exact) AGES ago and had em in my car for about 7,000 KM's. Not too sure how many KM's were on them before. SOLD 2. Levin Manual Dash (the white numbers one). Seriously add's some bling to the standard - Mid 6x,xxx - Low 7x,xxx KM's on the clock (Sorry i took it off months ago and i forgot the reading, but it's around there) - Great condition (slight hairline crack on the top mounting clip, wrecker did it. Does not affect anything really.) SOLD - DEPOSIT TAKEN All prices are for pick-up. I would much prefer local buyers however I can post the dash at buyers expense. Just going to play catchup and answer a few questions Yup sure, i can get some photos up Tuesday. The ride is a little bit stiffer than stock. To be honest I cant remember the spring rate of the Coiilovers. Its only height adjustable, not dampening. Sure PM me an offer. Sorry i've already sold the rims Thats stock on the 1zz.

Ah, its rare to find a photo of me, only when ive had a bit to drink and my camera starts wondering places. Heres a few shots of me - CandyPaint @ Havana. I'm their photographer, but my friend took my camera and started doing my job for me :P Me pouting with my girlfriend while some guy covers his nose Me and one of my friends!

Hm, after reading about both cameras they are both very similar. One of the main differences is that Sony's one can shoot video! Pentax on the otherhand can shoot in RAW. A very good format for post-production, you're able to control a lot of the elements of the photograph - eg. whitebalance, exposure (to an extent), etc. Oh also the Pentax has a hot shoe so you can always add an speedlight / ext flash :) The winner in my opinion would be the Pentax IF Sony's video capturing ability doesn't win you over :P Then again you can fork out a few extra hundred bucks to buy the D60 which is a sexy little camera and you can use Nikon lenses! Then again i too am a bit bias cos i grew up with Nikons and own a D90 Btw its not all about the camera its about the photographer :) http://www.kenrockwell.com/tech/notcamera.htm

Hey all, i feel like going for a photo shoot as i'm prepping my car for sale - also its a nice reason to give my car a few last drives. Anyone know of any nice locations within Sydney/Regional NSW (i don't mind driving an hour or two) that i can go to? I'm looking for every possible scenario - cityscape, landscape, hills overlooking the city/nature (like "make out point" in movies...haha), beaches. Basically anywhere nice day & night :) I'm jobless for 2 weeks so i can basically drive anywhere Thanks, skriblez! ps. if anyone wants to come hit me up a pm and i'll let you know the days i'll be travelling - i just need some locations first. i do photography for a living so i'll promise to make your car look sexy :P' edit: title - excuse my ingerish :P

Sorry for posting in such a general area (cos its only intended for MM) - but Mish said it was urgent and i wasnt able to contact her via msn cos mines playing up. (its doing that crappy thing where it says "the following messages could not be delivered to the following participants") Couldnt email either cos my email server is down whats the chances of that! Also tried to send a PM but it didn't have the "Attachment feature" unless i've totally missed it. So after exhausting all my options i made a new topic haha. Attached is the .eps + .ai of the logo so it can be resized without any image loss. Please note that the "AU.TOYOTAOWNERSCLUB.COM" isn't the EXACT font but its very very very close (the C is different but not very noticeable unless you stare at it. I also didnt want to completely customise the font to match it exactly cos that would take forever). Also the .ai file is in CS3 so if they require it to be converted let me know and i can save it to whichever version they need (however the .eps should be enough) Feel free to delete this message once u get it MM :) Edit: epic fail - couldn't upload .eps or .ai so i zipped it tocauLogo.zip

Aww i oh well live and learn, lol But by flat shifting you can stay in lift in a stock sportivo from 1->2?(just to get my head around things flat shifting is basically when you keep your foot on the accelerator while shifting gears right?) Would this produce a faster 1/4 time (i know its bad for the clutch but don't worry about that i'm not doing it :P) Wouldn't flat shifting cause the clutch to slip anyway? (lets say its a brand new stock stivo) Sorry if im nub lol, i'm just a very inquisitive person :P (ive googled endless amount of pages on how the clutch/manual transmission works) Cheers

Sorry to revive an old topic, but i just need to know cos my friend is arguing that by maintaining lift from 1->2 on a stock sportivo requires slipping the clutch which is less efficient. However, i said that you dont need to slip the clutch (but we cant prove this cos we don't know anyone who has a stock sportivo) So to set things straight, how do you maintain lift from 1->2 (on a stock sportivo)? - do you keep the revs up? and if so is it more efficient/faster? btw, theres a $100 riding on this bet lol.

I agree, i bought my Sony TV just for the PS3. I was reading an article this morning on www.news.com.au about Sony going to discontinue the current PS3 models (In Japan) and release a new version of the PS3 to compete aginst the Wii. I play the games for a little while then it just gets boring. Even the hyped up assassins creed ended up sucking ! The only game i play now is Tekken5 DR (cos its online!) and the GT HD Demo (drifiting is ever so fun on that game! and its the closest thing to driving an evo9 i will ever get lol) Can't wait for some future games though like GTA4, GT5, FF13. but until then its gonna be sitting in my room collecting dust :)
