  1. I'm looking at replacing my Sat Nav Unit, as it is U/S. Does anyone have wiring diagrams for the standard Tarago Connectors to a 26028 (PZQ60-00200) Head Unit? (I will also probably install a DVD feed) Thanks
  2. Hilarious guys!! I have a V6 Ultima and it too understeers into corners. I can even spin the drivers side front wheel on occasion. 200kW in a van, but still nearly 9 secs to 100km/h. Dude, It's a VAN! I find by slightly elevating my right foot (off the throttle) and driving like a regular human being, these problems go away...
  3. I think you'll find there is a small tweeter mounted in each side of the dash (just above the air vents). Probably not really what you were after.
  4. The fuel guage on my 2007 Ultima constantly reads full. I went to my local Toyota dealer and was told that they could "investigate the problem for me", but that would cost me $270... Just to look! Has anyone else had this problem? I am looking at tackling the job myself but would like some information from the Service Manuals on 1) how to remove the fuel tank [as the sender is mounted in the top, and I don't see any access panels in the floor] and 2) if there is some electrical test I can do before hand, so I don't waste my time pulling the tank out, just to find it is something simple, like a bad joint! By the way, a V6 Ultima gets up to 439.5km from a tank around town, after that your pushing (LITERALLY!!)
  5. Fujutsu Ten have come back with an option to quote to repair unit for $55, so at least I know what I'm up for. So I figure I'll do that. If it's much more than $400-$500, I'll probably buy a new aftermarket unit. They are only a bit more than the exchange units in price...
  6. My Tarago has a 26028 SatNav Unit (PZQ60-00200) Someone (who shall not be named to protect the guilty) ejected the satnav disc, and the jammed it back in before the unit was ready to accept it. It now sits there saying "Insert Map Disc", but will not accept the disc. What are my options? Eclipse/Fujitsu Ten (in Melbourne) can either repair mine (cost unknown) They can also supply me an exchange unit for $1,285 (if mine is serviceable...). Toyota can supply me a replacement unit for $3,500 (YEAH, right!!!) I have scanned Ebay with no luck. Are there any other places I could source a replacement unit from at a "reasonable price" ($500-$600).Do I just buy myself a Tomtom and put a standard CD head unit in?
