  1. Ashley, Thanks for your earlier suggestion. Problem is solved for now. I mention this in case it happens to others. There are 2 x cable attachment points on the boot lock, one at an angle on side and one at the rear. I merely shifted the cable connection to the alternate point at the lock rear - fixed! Thanks and regards. currajong
  2. Thanks anyway Ashley. I was aware of that, (key can be used to disable cabin release) but I checked it once again anyway. No go. Only the remote will open the boot. I am unsure if there is a wear issue here. Thoughts anyone? Regards, Frank
  3. Greetings to All. I have a 2009 Aurion Prodigy with a malfunctioning boot lock control - all pull cables are intact, but only the remote will unlock the boot - key block and cabin pull lever both operate cable attached to boot lock, but the boot lock cable does not appear to move far enough to release the mechanism. Can anyone help with this? Also what is the function of the electrical microswitch forming part of the key unlocking assembly? All help will be gratefully acknowledged. Thank you. currajong
  4. Hello to All, I have a 2009 Toyota Aurion Prodigy (70,000 km) which has recently begun to suffer from intermittent cooling with climate control set to Cooling (Driver and Passenger thermostats both set 23 deg C). In ambient temperatures of approx. 35 deg C, cabin cooling airflow starts out fine. After about 30 minutes highway motoring, inflow air temperature suddenly jumps to the outside air temperature. This warm air inflow will continue for about 10 - 15 minutes, and then the cooling air inflow returns. I would be grateful for any advices of the most probable causes and their rectification. The HVAC system is as originally manufactured and has never been touched. Thanks in advance for any assistance.
  5. GDay All, Have a 2009 Aurion prodigy. Recently, I accidentally dislodged the interior lower trim piece (black) on the driver's side B-Pillar as I entered the vehicle. The integral clips on the trim piece are OK. No amount of pushing and shoving the trim appears to snap it back into place. Is there a special tool required for this refitting? (I don't want to get so brutal that I damage the plastic.) Thanks for any assistance.
  6. thanks satori893 for your assistance. I eventually figured it out - the deed is done, without damage to the machine. Regards, currajong
  7. Need to urgently replace a broken(non-weatherproof) indicator lens on an aurion wing mirror. I would appreciate suggestions on how this is done. I have only the usual screwdrivers/spanners/pliers at my disposal- no special tools. I have heard that it's a simple process, but I'm afraid of doing damage without correct advice. All help acknowledged and gratefully received. Thanks. currajong
  8. Hello All, I am new to this forum and am seeking detailed information for the after-market addition of a Aux audio Input Jack to the Stereo amp (2009 aurion prodigy), to allow connection of a GPS Navigator audio output. Anyone had any experience with this addition? Thanks in advance currajong
