My 02 Levin seems to drive fine and can 'get up and gooooo' when required (running 17's and stock suspension). The cruise to Killcare yesterday proved that coming back through the twisties on the Ol' Pac Hwy - yeeeeah baby. Back to topic....bought it when it had 30K on the clock - now with 65K and 9 months later, it can feel a little less reponsive as it gets closer to service time. With and service, oil change, filters etc etc and she's all Xmas again. I reckon do an ECU reset, get it fully serviced and give it some boot. Like Syxxpac says, theres heaps that can effect how it runs. If stil crappy feel, get it checked out by a good mechanic. Good luck with it.

Awesome day guys and gals !!! Great turn out (25 vehicles). Was my first cruise and eagerly awaiting the next - hopefully will be sooner than the burgers arrived - a man coulda died on Killcare Beach of starvation - more brownies next time Pete !! Thanks to all that organised Mish etc and Sam for leading the way Great pics for the album too. I reckon there were a few soiled seats when we came off the last bend of the Ol' Pacific Hwy to see the boys in blue doing inspections. Bugger to the fella that got a blue slip for the blinkers and tread. Cheers all - I'm off to rub in more sunburn cream....opps. Shoulda listened to Mish's advise of slip slop slap PS - the more people with CB,s the better - safer and less wrong turns

Toyota debuts Corolla sedan in China
MOZZ-ROLLA replied to conquest976's topic in Corolla / Corolla Sportivo Club
Yeah..kinda looks ok-ish but nothing special - thats for sure. Looks like an overweight Corolla or an anorexic Camry - specially from the back. Pitty the designers couldnt have done a better job on a face lift rather than get some bi-spectical wombat Camry designer to bend a few panels a different way and call it the all new improved version - bit boring really. I reckon if your gonna 'face lift' or 'up spec' a model - do it properly. An indication that they did a good job would be if we all wanted to trade our existing models and get one - as for me - no way! -
Yeah - Ive got the 1zz Levin and can feel the diff with the air con running. In fact, if I'm sitting at the lights with the foot brake on and the air con compressor kicks in, the brake pedal drops a little lower....hmmmm ?!?!?! Otherwise drives fine, but with a little extra stick required........if I wanna accelerate up a hill on the freeway or overtake with a little extra donk, I switch off the aircon to take the extra belt drive out of the equation - afterall - its not a V6 or V8.

EOI: [NSW] SYDNEY -----> GOSFORD OR KIAMA????
MOZZ-ROLLA replied to blue_rolla's topic in Previous/Past Club Meets & Events
Yep - I'm in so long as I'm not working - daytime is good for me (work most nights). Thornleigh close to me. What times you thinkin'......? -
Man...sorry hear 'bout that - it's like being seriously violated. You work hard, save, get the bits and / or the car, then some little prick with no life and a rock as a Mum, comes along and wrecks your pride and joy :( As previous posts say - carma. He'll get his Does any know if the same can be done to Levin - cause now I'm worried too......

Spewin' - dented the Rolla on Friday the 13th
MOZZ-ROLLA replied to MOZZ-ROLLA's topic in Club Lounge
Thanks - thinking now of getting some other bits since it'll be in the shop for spraying and could do eyelids, rear skirt........hmmmm.....what to get -
Man - always a sad situation seeing a bent rolla - glad to hear your OK, especially since it was on the drivers door - damn cabbie's. I'm sure there's good cabbies out there but I'm yet to see one that doesnt make me wanna sometimes run them off the road. In saying that, let the insurance complanies fight it out - thats what we pay em for. If you are at fault, you will only have to pay your own excess (and probably an increased policy premium next year). If you have, say a 60% No Claim Bonus, then you will drop back to 50%. Insurance pays for his repairs and anything else. Good luck with the repairs mate !! I'm guessing about 6K worth.....bugger :(

How to adjust level of low beam?
MOZZ-ROLLA replied to chanman's topic in Corolla / Corolla Sportivo Club
Or get it done when its for service - I had to do it when I put 30+ bulbs in. Bit lazy I know but since it was in anyway, might as well get my hourly dollars worth. Only takes a technician a nano second, which they shouldnt charge you for......and they do it right (mostly) - if yer not happy - take it back to them till you are. Beats not getting it right and having oncoming traffic flashing you cause they think your a wombat driving a Volvo with a hat a forgot to low beam.... ;) -
Sportivo factory front door panel speakers
MOZZ-ROLLA replied to CheekySportivo's topic in Audio/Video/Electronics
My pasenger door is rattling too with heavier bass - I was advised to either put in sound deadner or go for upgrade speakers (with sound deadner too). Depends on yer budget and whether you wanna go upgrade or just replace existing stock.... Like 'snakesau' says..."never a bad time". Once I've saved the coin, I'm goin upgrade for sure....issue solved ! -
Let the mods begin........once that bug bites..........

Just taking a wee swipe at our southern state mates about da weather :P :P Truth be said - bought time Sydney had some decent bloody rain (oops...can I say that ?!?!?) -

rear whiper - where to get one
MOZZ-ROLLA replied to Daniel's topic in Corolla / Corolla Sportivo Club
Yep, definitly illegal with out side indicators - you could do what the trucks and some 4wd's do and run side lamps down the sides - on the skirts - probably look a bit poxy on a rolla and they could'nt be any other colour than yellow. Not sure how 'visible' it would be - works on 4wd's cause their up higher like trucks........hmmmm
