  1. pm's replied! thanks! eyelids/tail lids on hold. all other items still available i am negotiable!
  2. will be in a couple of weeks, just sorting out the new weekend car in the next 2 weeks and when i get some time i'll be pulling them out. throw me a price you'd be willing to pay for em.
  3. the powder coating played only a small part in making it very frustrating to fit. the actual height was about 1mm taller on each side compared to stock.
  4. that sound like alot of effort, what did you have to grind? mine fitted perfectly out of the box. and also have stuck well, still holding really well 3 months later.
  5. selling up and going turbo again. will still have the rolla probably for another couple of months while hunt for a new car. the whiteline was an absolute **** to install. took me 2 days of attempting because they were 1mm taller on each side where you slot the bolts into. ever tried bending/flexing 5mm thick steel with basic tools? lol took me a good day to get it on. hardest part was aligning the second bolt hole after aligning the first bolt hole. what a mission!
  6. i never buy genuine gear, massive rip off almost every time.there is always something cheaper and better. the ones i posted fit pretty well, they are moulded correctly and come with some pretty strong 3m tape, no way theyre coming off in a hurry. if your really picky about it the fronts on mine fall about 5mm short of being fully flush at the door's end. i could care less.
  7. funnily enough this topic was dug up, i'm actually selling all my gear, whiteline rear 22mm swaybar and cusco front strut brace.
  8. LOL. you can tell it's a friday with me. everything goes right over my head. haha. good to see i can be of some help to the community. :D
  9. i don't recall removing any photo's i uploaded on here? i remember uploading quite a few to the other wide wheel thread that's floating around here, will have to check out the faq now. can upload more if you want?
  10. i just worked with what i had at the time, wasn't too fussed with how well they stretched or whatever, i just needed some stretch to stop the guard from peeling off tread :P i only had king superlows at the time witha whiteline 22m rear swaybar to try and combat the body roll. had planned coilovers but like i previously stated i gave up when i realised it wasn't going to be how i wanted it to be. that and the fact i realised i wanted turbo again.
  11. ahh see mine was stock tune on a kkr280 turbo, and a bunch of other mods. bigger turbo always results in better fuel economy, unless your full boosting every second of the day :P especially with no extra fuel being pushed into it.
  12. nice one, they give a decent amount of camber not only for asthetic purposes, they also improved handling a butload too.
  13. actually, that would probably create more drag. a more logical method would be to refrain from opening your windows, as the wind is entering the car and hitting the rear hatch window with nowhere else to go just like one giant umbrella. but seriously, if it has gotten to the point where you have to put this method into action, then you need serious help financially :P. i used to get a respectable 550km's just when my fuel light came on s14a 1.2bar, and that was on a 50l tank. sr20's are quite surprising when it comes to performance/fuel economy. dare i say the s14a was actually better on fuel than my sportivo considering the performance factor. sportivo gets 550 and then the light comes on, which i could probably milk another 50-70ks out of. maybe.
  14. how mine sat untouched camber wise. you might need to click on this photo to see in better detail. and this is how they sat wound out to max (1.75 degrees) negative camber.
  15. gotta love fleabay. i suppose thats how it works these days, pay less wait more. pay more wait less. could say the same for quality and price too in most cases but these things are awesome quality at a bargain price!
  16. that was one of the constant fears i had, driven past and next to police multiple times like that and never got a single glance surprisingly. but i have since taken the rims off and are now for sale. the guards were pumped as much as possible without damaging paintwork or warping the guards, only other option was to pull the lip out and remold it/repaint it. i wasn't prepared for that, that and the fact that coilovers still wouldnt have lowered it as much as i planned. sdo i scrapped this whole idea all together. heres a pic without the rolling and flaring to compare the true look of offset/poke oin a stock sportivo.
  17. my old ae82 sedan i sold years ago is currently/almost completed with a 2zzge conversion. if your a member of twincam.org.au you can go check out his build thread, truly awesome work he's put into it. imagine it would be a siteload of fun. theres also an ae92 on youtube with the 2zz swap, show it fanging around an airstrip. sounds awesome! edit: never mind, already posted the link above lol.
  18. 16x9 15+ rear and 16x7.5 20+ front. with pumped & rolled front and rear guards. mind you the front's have camber bolts installed, so theres 1.75 degrees negative camber in these shots, not truly reprasentative of how they will sit without camber, but from memory they were exceeding the guards by atleast 15mm without pumping them..
  19. http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Wind-Visor-Deflector-03-06-Toyota-Corolla-5dr-Hatchback-/320753504057?pt=AU_Car_Parts_Accessories&hash=item4aae660f39 these are what im running, no issues, good quality and cheapest on ebay/anywhere. they're tinted aswell to suit tinted windows. i love em.
