hi all. i jump started a car with my son in law's 2007 diesel hilux. now the engine light is on. my bad of course. can i reset it or will it reset itself.?

hi everyone, i'm a new member and looking for reliable information. will the 5 speed box from a LN130 surf fit my old LN65 ?. they are both 2.4 litre diesels bit i don't know if they are actually the same motor. if they are the same,can i use the the whole unit (bell housing and transfer). i hope someone can help. thanks for taking the time to read this. tojo's rule.

i'm a new member but long time toyota driver. my old 2.4 litre diesel has 450,000 on the clock and the head has never been off.this morning it developed a noise. most noticeable when i back off and under load.. its a clack clack clack clack.....i've been trying to track down the noise. could it be my oil pump??? all help and advice appreciated.. hilux rules..Bob
