To add further to this thread if anyone is interested. I purchased a genuine Toyota bonnet from an wholesale auto parts supplier in Melbs at a cost of $330. including delivery. (The list price was$423. plus GST.) I decided to skip the ebay one as the guy said "It should fit" when I went to pick it up and I noted there were new parts in his skip bin outside the factory Not a positive look for me anyway.

(kinda reminds me of a device I had on the ute before that was supposed to keep roos away..lol that didn't work.) What is the electronic rust module about Matthew? I've taken to not touching any metal at the moment to be on the safe side though. Hey what about Brocky's Polariser idea from years back..maybe something like that might work. Anyone remember that one?

For some years now I have been getting electric shocks from my Toyota's. Mostly when I get out of my current drive and I touch some metal part of the door and .ZAP! It's really starting to annoy me. .Any possible and realistic solutions folks are welcome..Let's keep the wisecracks to a minimum though..lol

Thanks for that, I have emailed the company to see if I can pick one up as I'm nearby. $160 seems cheap I don't imagine it would be genuine Toyota for that price but it will do the trick anyway. Cheers!

Though I recently made a comment re leaky roofs (past experiences) I'm still considering a Hollandia 900 for my Aurion. Anyone had one of this brands electric roofs fitted? And positive or negative comments are welcome.

Yer do ride the dealer to fix the problem otherwise it will only get worse, like the motor packing up (moisture). Beep Beep is right!! ALL sunroofs leak, eventually.
