After talking to Toyota about the model Toyota Crown Super Saloon 1981, I was suprised when they stated that the 1981 model had Engines made by others due to demarned on Toyota at that time, the Engine was subed out to a very reliable Company who im not sure to be honest, although I have it by others that it was another Jap Company under supervision via Toyota, if anybody knows more let me know, if you look at book values you may not find a 1981 model mentioned, 1980 yes 1982 yes but not 1981..........regards Ray

hi steve, my wife and I are interested in joining a toyota car club, re- outings, etc our old girl ia a 1981 supersaloon totaly original and not used much, we want to change this, do you have any contacts in this area, we are in Brisbane, mt gravatt area, hope you can assist
