  1. Thanx guys. Its always good to get a few runs on the board. Soon as I find my way around the website, I will start to see where I am heading ... hopefully! LOL Kindest regards Brian
  2. Hi there, I just got here, so I don't really know what I am looking at just yet and I also don't know a lot about what I am doing, other than that, it's all good. LOL I drive a January 2002 Prado. Unfortunately the dealer really saw me coming when I bought it about 5 years ago. I paid what I figured was top dollar for a reasonably new vehicle (newest vehicle I have ever owned anyway). What I did not realise at the time was ... a few months after my vehicle was made, Toyota changed the model specs, therefore some parts and accessories are rare as rocking horse manure and/or expensive. Ohh well, I guess you live n learn or you dont live long!! What I am after is, a bullbar to fit the Prado. As the vehicle is worth ... maybe $10k - $15k, I am not wanting to spend a lot. On this side of the country, secondhand is non-existant, and freight from the east is more than half the cost of brand new. My question is, are there any other models of vehicles that have identical bullbar specs that would fit my Prado? Maybe a Landcruiser 80 series or 100series? I don't want to buy one, just to find out the brackets are different, but the nose-cone of the vehicle is identical, or some other differences that I cannot see as a very amateur home mechanic. Any comments/assistance greatfully received. Have a great day. Kindest regards Brian
