Petrol or Diesel? Also im pretty sure shocks have pressed in bushes.... may be worth replacing the whole shock if it has been around long enough for the bush to cark it It's a petrol motor. I did let the fuel gauge run very low before changing to the sub tank.

My 1997 prado shudders when i am trying to cruise. It is fine while accelerating but as soon as i try to cruise it shudders and jumps like there is no fuel. it happens at any speed but feels worse at low speed. Just as a second question the rubber bushes in the front shockers at the bottom, are they pressed in or can they just be pushed into place. My front shocker rubbers are all but shot.

Both my 97 prado rear trailing arms snapped, I have managed to source a couple and need to put them on. Is there any suggestions on how to pull the diff forward so the holes line up. It is only a matter of an inch. Could i use a tie down strap to pull it forward. Any advice would be handy.

I have found that both of my upper control arms on my 97 landcruiser Prado are broken. Can they be welded back together or am i going to have to make a trip to the wreckers. Any advice, would be appreciated. Thanks Sandy.

I have found a couple of bars broken under my 97 landcruiser prado rv6. They run from the top of the diff to the frame of the car. I need to know if I can weld them or do they have to be replaced. I hope someone can help. I hopefully attached a few photos. Any help would be appreciated Thanks Sandy.

I have a question about the bar which goes from the clutch pedal, through the firewall and into the clutch reservoir. Is it supposed to be straight or bent on an angle. I ask this question because it fell out of the reservoir and is bent. I managed to get it back in and working, but i need to know if it needs straightening or replacing.

I got my toyota radio working, worked out the code was the last three numbers of the vin number of the 4X4. Fixed the head lights and got the spotlights working. I've been a busy boy.

I have a 1997 toyota prado. None of the buttons work while the car is on accessories or running. I am stuck on the same station all the time. when the car is off the led display is on telling me which station I am on but there is no music. Is there anyway to reset the radio. It is a toyota radio. I can't remove the fuse, there is no fuse present in the fuse slot. Got me hoodwinked, any suggestions.
