  2. As mentioned by other people, there is very little you can do to make your aurion faster... unless you have a budget bigger than the car's value.

As much as I hate to say it, if you want a 4 door sedan, and want to go fast you are better off with either a Commodore SS, or a Falcon XR6T.

    or the ISF

  3. I have already expressed elsewhere, how much worse off the car scene/the world in general is now that Pete has passed. He was a true gentle giant, a gentleman and an all-round good bloke with a massive heart. He will be deeply missed by all of us, he always brought a smile and a laugh wherever he ventured.

    Gunna miss you buddy! :(

Told me many stories about the 'awesome' drives with your camry, always talked good about every car and always had some positive to say as well.

  4. hmmmm soo how much did it cost to get the interior done rebs???

im not paying anymore than a leg or an arm :g:

Got quoted $1100 from a company.

found this guy that did my 12 pieces for $280 cheapest you can find

  5. the films transparent. so basically you can change of dark or light you want the pattern. Just put a light base coat ot a dark case coat.

and some good clear coat ;)

Spot on Rebs, hows yours holding up mate?

The clear coat is what will stop most home diy'ers, it's gotta be a 2k for durability,,, simple can acrylics and enamels wont hold up.

Time to blow the cob webs off the old compressor and clean out the guns :) I'm sure i have some 2k clear in stock :D

Merry Xmas mate hope to see ya soon!

Its holding up perfectly, looks brand new everyday.

Yeah trial and error mate, never know till you try it yourself.

Thanks mate have a happy new year too

  6. Anytime man. Just in case you have trouble deciding which one you wanna get

he's what it will look like approx

    6000k is a nice white

8000k has a tint of blue

usually you can get defected for having 8000k or over depending on your luck

  7. Still have not done it, been a little under the weather this week. The one thing that still puzzles me is why does the owners manual say the hb3 size when research on this forum i have found that not be correct.

Also for the people that have changed to HID do you have any trouble at rego time getting a pink slip passed?

    No problems till now

What do you mean till now? problem with the police or getting a pink slip done?

Let me rephrase that... Until now there hasn't been any problems getting a pink slip.

As for cops. if you stay away from going over 6000k you should be fine, Saying that keep away from 55w and go with the 35w.

You'll find out your HIDs will last longer and you won't we risk melting your headlight housing

  9. lol, yea you always seem to spot me mate.. the tails are always going to be that bright because of the leds luke used, to get that same pattern as rebz he had to cut the rings, if we were to use the "cree" leds ( better quality ) we wouldnt be able to achieve the same pattern, altho look has to rip out the taillights anyway because hes going to be modding the rear blinkers, ill see if he can do anything with the reds

I was facing the same issue before, but figured it was my tints that were too dark and made the LEDs look dim when they were actually bright. If Luke installed the Red individual LED like he did for ZRB it would be bright as ****, but like jim said won't have the same look i guess
