  1. Cheers Juan. BC UK wont help as there is an Australian distributor. Didn't tell me who though... I'll have a hunt around for another distributor if JustJap can't get anything firmer than 4.5KG

    http://www.option1garage.com.au/BCRacing.htm

    This guys sells them.

Sorry man I can't remember where I saw the warranty info.

    hello

    Just recieved feedback from justjap.com

they do 8 kg fronts, but can only do 4.5 kg spring rate for the rears

this is for those buying new, like me :)

    if this helps anyone

    -juan

Hrmm, I was wanting a bit more on the rear.

Does anyone know what length rear extender we need, 110, 200 or 250mm?

  2. Hey JIN I have the same coils and they're 6KG front and 3KG rear. Good work getting them stiffer, I should of done that myself but a lesson learnt now.

Anyone know if you can just get stiffer springs for the coils and this will work ok as far as increasing the spring rate? Without replacing the strut part?

Or do both need to be upgraded for this to be effective?

    Hey Couzellion,

From what I've been researching you can change the springs, also read that this will void any warranty you have on the coils though.

Haven't found any springs being sold though, I haven't bought mine yet didn't look into it.

  3. Sorry to revive an old thread but I am chasing a new set of 245/40zr18's. Cheap Chinese s@#t I got with my rims are de-laminating in the sidewalls. Is the general opinion still potenzas or federals? My car does wife / kids taxi duty 80% of the time but dad enjoys a spirited drive on weekends. I don't mind spending a little extra on good tyres considering its my loved ones that they may save one day(touch wood it doesn't come to that).

Logan I can recommend Pirelli pzero nero, they are a little more expensive than other brands but the grip level and noise level is fantastic and well worth it :)

Peter how many km's you done on the Pirelli's, I'm reading on reviews that they get noisy after some wear.

  4. Hi guys,

Been searching the forums but haven't quite found the answer to my question, any help and experiences is much appreciated.

Of course like lots of us I want to push the limits of the wheels :D , I'm not looking for the biggest wheels but lowest possible offset for stance whilst staying flush with the fender.

    Car: 2008 ZR6

    Wheel setup I'm looking at: 19 x 8.5inch with +30 offset

Coilovers will be used and yes will want to lower as much as possible

I guess my first question is:

On concave wheels, does lowering the offset mean that the spokes are pulled inwards on a sharper angle or do they stay the same. Do I need wider rims to create the angle instead?

    This was posted to me:

    http://www.customwheeloffset.com/wheel-offset-gallery/241/wheel-offset-2009-toyota-camry-flush-dropped-1-3%22-custom-rims

    These are 19 x 9.5inch wheels with +40 offset

Could someone confirm that by me saving 25mm in width of the wheel, means I can add +10mm to offset. I figure that the extra inch is split in two (12.5mm) and placed on either side of the rim, so I should be 2.5mm under this.

Thanks again for your help everyone.

    Alex

  5. Poop, the link doesn't work :(

Do you guys know if the front bumpers can be switched between years, I have an 08 zr6 and was thinking of swapping it to an 11 front. Is it possible to do a straight swap, eg: all the clips and
    attachments in the same locations?

    Thanks
