  1. I'm looking to install an auto switching/dimming rear view mirror in this car. A Toyota factory part that can be swapped out (even if wiring must be run) would be ideal. The US models seem to have had it on some trims. I know some Lexus models around that time had ones that looked like this (my FIL had a 2004 GS with it) https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/234424914419
  2. My 2004 Sportivo v6 has the antenna embedded in the rear windscreen. It looks like the anti-fog wires, but they are two separate wires. The antenna takes up the top 10-20% of the windscreen and the anti-fog covers the bottom There is a clear gap between the two where I can see they are not electrically connected. Incidentally it has the equal best reception of any car I've ever driven (not that I listen to the radio much)
  3. I don't know whether or not it comes with an input for ipod, but I installed a GTA Car Kit in my 04 Camry and it's brilliant. Works with all steering wheel controls etc. Here's the link for one for your car (note you will need to order an extra cable with it because of the sat nav): http://www.gtacarkits.com/toyota_camry_2007_2011_car_kit.php There is a youtube instructional video showing how to do it. I needed an apple adapter to go from 30-pin to lightning for my iphone 5, ~$40. I also bought a Brodit cradle and attachment clip (http://www.brodit.com/product.html?id=514434&pn=prod&brand=Apple&model=iPhone%205 & http://www.brodit.com/product.html?id=653833&pn=prod&brand=Toyota&model=Camry&year=2011), and all together it gives a really integrated feel. Cannot recommend highly enough. If you want any more info or pictures let me know.
  4. 2005 model (built Oct 04) Sportivo v6 manual MCV36R. I get around 11.5L/100km on a normal week of mostly work commute and a couple of other trips. I've never done a tank with 100% highway, but on one I did about 90% and got about 9.5L/100km. This is calculating from km's travelled and L filled up. My trip computer tends to read a little high.
  5. I purchased a new camry remote from the US via eBay. I can get the car to say "pro" but can't get it to do anything more. Any ideas? (the remote is high quality and looks totally genuine to me)
  6. I bought a new remote from the US over eBay. One of the ones with the unlock and lock buttons seperate (a pet hate of mine to use the same button). I can get the car to say "Pro" but can't get it to do anything more. Any ideas?
  7. I used to get that with my 94 Corolla Sprinter when the weather got hot, am having the same thing with my 2004 Camry Sportivo, but not as prevalent. It doesn't bother me enough to investigate it, however if a solution is found I'll be pretty quick to instigate it.
  8. I'm actually getting under 11 city driving and about 9 highway driving.... until I put my foot down....
  9. So, had purchased on 05 model 2004 V6 Camry Sportivo in a very pretty white, when three weeks later two drivers on the other side of Milperra Rd decided to have a bump and for one of them to come say hi over the median strip. It's currently sitting in the body shop, as it has been for 3 weeks while Allianz decides whose fault the accident was. Meanwhile I'm a bag of giggles....
  10. I get about 11L/100km in my 2004 sportivo V6 manual.
  11. Welcome to the Toyota forums level3ninja :)
