  1. Thanks mate. I have found a few Prado 120's with TRD SC installed. All have original ECU with a piggy back for the SC. Either Haltech or Unichip. It seems I can install the TRD ECU and TRD injectors and it will work, but the TRD ECU will not talk to the BCM in the Prado as its meant for a Hilux. So piggy back is the only option. Naturally, Toyota will not even entertain the idea of helping with any of this.
  2. Jumping on the end of an old thread as well, hoping for a bit of help. I have just bought a TRD supercharger. We will be pulling it off a Hilux this week. I will be putting it onto my 2005 120 Prado (VX V6 auto). The current owner has a new unused TRD ECU. Does anyone know if I can straight swap this for the existing ECU? Also does anyone know a good tuning place in Sydney that has experience with the TRD system?
  3. Hello, I'm new here, so apologies if this has been posted before. I have just purchased a 1993 Gen 5 Celica. The heater radiator needs replacing. Apparently this involves removing the dash. Can anyone offer some hints, tips, tricks, etc for doing this? I have searched around for a comprehensive guide but so far I can't find much. Any help greatly appreciated.
  4. I finally got my first Celica today. 1993 Gen 5. A colleague has had it for some years, but his wife wanted a new car. He has spent a lot of time and cash keeping it stock and well maintained. Its amazing how many parts are still available as "old new stock". It just needs the air con compressor replaced (new one is sitting in the boot). The heater radiator is shot and there is one to go in, but removing the dash seems a bit tricky, so thats my first point of research.
