  1. Anyone in the Brisbane region have a recommendation for tyre retailers where I can get competitive quotes for 245/55/19? Are there any high volume retailers or wholesalers like ozzytyres, Tempe tyres as in Sydney ? Local quotes at the Coast aren't competitive. Thanks
  2. Hello all. This is my first post. A few weeks back I took my car in for a 30K service [done 32K] and was astonished to be told that the Bridgestones only had about 5K left in them. I was even more astonished when I started phoning around for quotes. Apart from the scarcity of choice in this size, the prices are a bit over the top. I am on the Sunshine Coast. I've phoned around Jax, Bob Jane, Tyrepower and an independent and have come up with these "best" options. I should add that the car gets an easy life, black top driving only. I am after mileage and comfort. I won't buy Bridgestones again. Coopers [though 255, not 245] - $475 Falken - $310 Yokohama Advan - $410 [the tyre guy claims they are noisy] Pirelli Scorpion ATR [255] - $450 Continental - $419 Hankook - $359 Maxxus - $360 Toyo - $440 [all F&B] I'd appreciate the views of other Kluger owners as to whether to steer clear of any of these or if any is a standout. I have to say I don't like the Coopers profile and pattern. I am steering toward Pirelli, maybe Toyo or Falken. Ideally, I'd like something I don't have to change tyres on so regularly. Also, are these prices in the ballpark or are they having me on? Thanks
