  2. i was surfing the net looking for a runx badge when i came across this site its got some interesting parts on it including a new style of eylids something i myself as looking into making........now if only i could translate japanese http://www.g-corp.co.jp/aero/07corolla/cor..._runxallex.html
  3. so we might just chill out @ villawood for a chat ..... or maybe hit aqua golf or something .... we'll see what people want to do damn double demerits the funny thing is that when its dd's round here we actually see less cops than usual i know thats not the same everywhere but. anyway aqua golf sounds good havent done that for a while.
  4. The H3 is hardly a military vehicle. It is just designed to look like one. The original H1 Hummer is essentially a road-going version of the AM General HMMWV (known as the Humvee) which is the current US military "jeep". im saying it WAS of course its not now
  5. I would not go near the things test drove a H3 to have a look see, quality was so bad I was worried about it making it back to the dealership intact, absolutely woeful. Then the handling is also completely crapola. yeah thats cause the hummer was essentially a millitary vehicle and on paper the specs look close but untill you get them side my side you wont tell for sure if you can get the 1-2 gearchange right itll help lol! thats always the hard one. if your worried you wont win then lighten up and pull a few interior parts out or yeah get xoom to represent if your mate doesnt have an issue with it being turbo
  6. saw a silver sportivo with p plates following me tonight parked at mt colah dominos had eyelids and an aero grill
  7. hmmmm i dunno dinner?? or a mountains run?
  8. ah yeh that time of the month eh lol! 2 days before i fly out but thats ok ill try be there it the sale goes though you wont be seein me turn up in a stivo though
  9. And I'll bet you that basically everything between the wheels and the engine was custom-built. think that goes without saying but why would you need to go to such extremes on a car like that?
  10. i wouldnt bother with it but then ive seen a 1uz shoved in a caldina with a couple of turbos hanging off it
  11. looked at a caldina today as im thinkin of buyin one too it might not be the same as the manual shift has buttons on the steering wheel
  12. bout 12 today saw a blue stivo dropped on stock rims numberplate was AL something on pennant hills road
  13. well the lambda sensors measure unburnt fuel levels in the exhaust gas if they dont work the efi has no way to tell what ratio to mix the fuel at and may well go into limp mode or run at a pre set level as a backup program rooted into the ecu. you could always try it take a quick run in it with them off and see if it improves but your have to reset the ecu to clear the resulting fault code
  14. not to mention double demerits lol! thats kinda why i havent gone anywhere. maybe organise something for january maybe a central coast run up the old pacific hwy as a suggestion? i spose that would be up to the mods to decide besides im crap at organising things myself
  15. wednesday arvo spotted a red stivo looked like mine only didnt have the aero grill on parra road in croydon he was heading towards parramatta. and spotted i think its sonny? the rolla thats black and white with a red stripe lol!
  16. sounds like a good idea id be in for that just have to unpack my fishing rod still sortin out our new appartment
  17. spotted a black stivo lowered with the trd grill that had a toms badge on it in waitara headin to hornsby bout 10:30
  18. nevermind
  19. just need to confirm are the coils the same for zze sedans and hatches front and rear i think they are but ive been wrong before
  20. my k-mart jack failed on me the other day the o ring for the piston crapped out hard lol! luckly i had stands under the car at that point cause i jacked it up then put stands under went to let it down only to find it was doing it itself lol! checked the o ring and it had disintegrated. we used a piece of rubber tubing from bunnings to insulate camry springs top and bottom at toyota when we got spring noise complaints and that helped thats if its rubbing against the saddles
  21. well in my opinion youd get more out of it because of a bigger rolling diameter but then wheel allignment problems and rubbing will kill a tyre real quick and thats more likely to happen with larger rims and lowered suspension also ive found bigger rims tend to track alot say on bad roads that have had alot of heavy vehicle traffic when they get ruts youll find you get pulled into them. anyway who cares if it looks hot practicality and good looks have never been good mates
  22. what springs do you have and does the noise only happen when hitting big bumps? If they may have sagged then they may not be tight in the strut/shock body. when you hit a bump and the shock extends, the spring could be "floating" free and clanking when the shock compresses and the spring comes in contact with the spring seats again. It could also be the plastic apron that drapes over the shock piston has brocken and is hitting the spring. It may also be unrelated to the spring. ooops, forgot to mention that it could also be a loose nut on the top of the rear shock. you can access this by removing the boot trim. the nut sits on a rubber grommet and could have come loose over time. ummm ok? so whos gona come fix it for me. lol i have no idea about anything you said :( can you make it happen without driving it say bouncing that corner of the car? if your in the city round ultimo tafe monday or wednesday night i can have a squiz for you
  23. saw a blue what might have been a sportivo i couldnt see it too well dumped on white rims turning off parra road onto silverwater road last night bout 8pm turned off onto the motorway heading west before i could catch up to it
  24. hehe clean... car needs a wash! thats the beauty of having a silver car. still needs more work (cosmetic mods planned for the moment, then more additions under the hood) havent had it long but lovin it at the moment! let me know if your keen for a zip up the old pac hwy, im always up for that! yeah thatd be cool havent done that for a while whenever you want to go
  25. hehehe! a guy i deal with has this stuff at his shop there was one cool thing he showed me though illuminated sill panels other than that theyre pretty freaky
