I've had this problem as well. more then likely its the drivers door swich is sticky. this also affects the lights on beeper and key in ignition beeper as well. had mine changed out under warranty same here it was the switch for some reason alot of the door switches were faulty and we replaced quite a few under warranty so if its still under warranty get it done also watch for squeeky clutch pedal

yeah ive been driving at 20 kms in 5th its just the revs have to be really really low under a certain amount of load to stall it. up a slight hill might stall it in that sence but no theres nothing in the cars computer that communicates with the gearbox in a manual its just normal principal revolutions versus load

4a with a 7a crank anyone?? use 4a rods and a ge head thatd be interesting

it would also need a stand alone engine management system to make it run propperly i dont see the 20v ecu as being up to task on it and just whacking a 20v head on the 7a could end up just as exspensive if not more by all means go for it if you want to though itd be a good progect

I try to went out to give my car a test run to record a sound sample. strangly its now gone. I m guessing it may be of 2 possible cases 1. Cold engine start. (since today is bit warm). But i dont know what will trigger that if its because of cold temp 2. Dust from rain. Since past few days is raining. Would it be true? its possible but dont write it off as gone yet give it a few more days and if its still there then try make a recording ive been in a dealership situation and trust me the main reason we dont always get it is due to the service advisers not giving an accurate description of the problem anyway sounds like a brake noise lol! always brake noise <_<

i just got my dads mp3 head unit from his new hilux and cant remember if they had a master override code on these new fujitsu ten systems or wether i need to use a decoder box anyone know?
