I was involved in a hit and run yesterday too. Driving home in my estate, doing 40kph, this brainless moron wallaby bounded out of the bush at full pelt, straight into the front quarter of my car (05 sportivo). Big impact, it skidded and rolled back across to the side of the road, got up and ran off. It left a huge dent in the side of my front bumper and took out the fog light, snapped the mountings... Can anyone recommend a good repair place in or around Redland shire in Brisbane? Logan would be fine too. My insurance company didn't have any suggestions in my area. owch! i hit a big roo out near winsor in a vl damn thing obliterated the car couldnt even limp it back into town it was so bad

awwwwww if you asked me nice enough i could have done it for you but i havent even done mine yet cant have my car in peices right now not till i know where im workin next. i was going to get a set to do then swap them with my headlights once they were finished so if your patient i might be able to hook you up with an exchange setjust as long as you spring for the paint lol!

ive had so much damage done to my car its sad it was clean and straight as an arrow when i bought it now its got dents and scatches here n there all from careless people so when i catch one in the act i tear strips off em then get it repaired at their cost and yeh ive had to go in with a few big blokes to sort a guy out before because he wouldnt pay poor blokes eyes were bulgin out of their sockets when he answered the door

go back to your friends house and see if theres any red cars with fresh damage on them and hit em up if they dont want to pay up get a few big blokes to sort em out

i have no idea how long the problem has been there its my girlfriends car and she never tells me when theres a problem with it it is stock the only modified part is the filter and its as close to a standard filter as i could have made it cause absolutely nobody had a replacement every place i tried didnt even have a listing for it including honda. theres no air leaks the problem is specific i know its the idle speed controller as i bypassed it myself and i had honda scan it for me and confirm it but when i asked if they could help get me the part they werent interested. its a GLI but ive never ever seen an intake manifold like this one and ive worked on a fair few civics before the manifold is not the same as a s2000 ive looked into it the only thing i can try is get a jap manifold but id rather keep it as a last resort

hey my missus's car is driving me nuts its a 2000 civic coupe apparently its an american built model and it has a different intake manifold. now due to this fact i cant get parts for it easily i had to modify the airbox and have a custom air filter made for it just so i could put a clean air filter in i cant get parts through honda they wont have anything to do with it. basically anyone know any honda guys who might be able to tell me if the jdm intake manifold idle speed controll motor will fit in an american built manifold im going to try the wreckers sunday to see if i cant get some result i just want this thing fixed so i can sell it and get her a real car ie corolla
