  1. That would be the alarm device that tells you that an enemy aircraft has a radar lock on you and you are about to get an incoming missile.
  2. ST215W. Hmm, I just undid the bolts and took the hoses off when I took my TMIC off to clean it.
  3. Yeah, I hate the rims too. But they were a bargain. It goes great. Still want to sell/swap it tho. Need to downsize. Dropped the ask price to 15k. Has 102k on the clock.
  4. New Wheels and tyres. Uniracing 17x7.5 +35. Yoko Cdrive 215/45R17
  5. Sexy photos. I still prefer stealth black fmic tho.
  6. It involves patience, small hands, and the correct tool for undoing the fitting so you dont strip the nut.
  7. Good stuff, and nice posting for everyone.
  8. I removed the non-working-in-australia jap sat nav bit and installed a carbon fibre cubby sourced from yahoo auctions via importmonster. Have not done the stezza surround of ash tray yet but have the bits for them.
  9. Good to see more Caldinas around. There are a few owners on Toymods, too.
  10. Yeah, but for answering the OP's Q, Yes, Lexus should still count as a Toyota as far as being of interest to the forum. Feel free to disagree.
  11. I have to disagree with Jayrome on some things. Definitely service at 5,000km. Check if the timing belt was done at 100k km. That is a MUST DO item. It is also good to do the waterpump at the same time if it has not been done. Those 2 are Pain In The ***** jobs. You would only choose 98 octane if you had noticable pinging. 195/50R15 tyres on 15x6.5 rims is what I'd choose. You can go to 16s or 17s with the right width and offset without much penalty. Agree on the paper cones, though. The front two 4" speakers that are in the dash are probably totally shagged by now. Mine were missing the entire large cone. Also, it is simply not worth doing performance mods on this car. Big brake upgrades, swaybars, extractors. Not worth it. Just buy an SX if you want to do that. It can be fun and a good learning process, but not WORTH it. If you have no speakers in the back, I believe you can fit some 5x7's in teh stock spots above the rear struts. Some models have speakers there and some don't. The ones that do have the mesh to cover the speakers with.
  12. Bit of an update. I just had the 100k km service done (96k km on the clock) It was because the clutch was slipping. So while the box was open I had all the good stuff done. Exedy HD organic clutch with NPC uprated cover. New seals, tensioners, timing belt, red coolant, waterpump, plugs. Baby is running beautifully again.
  13. I don't know about everyone else, but to me, Lexus IS a Toyota. LS400 - Celsior IS200 - RS200 ES300 - Camry Harrier - RX300 etc etc etc
  14. Wow you have a few nice S2 Manuals there. Like mine Great Cars.
  15. Car is now for Sale. Asking $17k. 12 months qld rego as of now. 92k km on the clock. Comes with a full set of 100k km service spares (minus fuel filter) valued around $500. Need the money for overseas trip (but I'm not in a hurry.) Trev
  16. http://toymods.net/forums/ Plenty of info for these cars on there.
  17. The HU never picked up AM, so I pulled it out and found that whoever installed it ran the Aerial booster wire from the HU to the Lights-on autodimmer wire. So once I switched it to the Aerail booster wire, I now have AM as well as my FM. Now, more pics:
  18. Lol Ash, so I didn't get the chaser. In my new car I'll still race you any day, straight or circuit (only if it is raining...)
  19. Couple of shots courtesy of previous owner: Tayles: Less than a Sportivo RUSTEM: WHAT?
