  1. That's what I thought too. What tyre size are you running? Ye the tyres are low profile. I think 240/40/18 I think. They look weird atm but at least the rims look nice I guess.
  2. It has been a while since my last update, but then again I did say this was going to be a SUPER SLOW progress thread. So recently I washed my car LOL. Nothing fancy...... And I also got a new set of shoes :D Now I know I was saying that I wanted the VIP style but its just so EXPENSIVE! And to be totally honest all I want is to modify my car to the extent where I feel cool while driving it. Just like I did with my Prelude. Anyway enough chit chat RIMS ARE ON!!!! 18 x 8 Work Emotion DR9 Rims in Gloss White
  3. Will a 5 x 120 stud pattern fit onto my car?
  4. ^ Ye now you have to solder the naked wire on the camera wire to the wire behind the head unit labelled "BACK" Then should engage :)
  5. ^ Pretty sure you can change it because there are lots that look the same as that so I'm assuming you can. Ye mine did. What about yours?
  6. ^ Ye exactly the same! But the interface is different. I wonder if you can download different interfaces off the net. Any idea?
  7. Hahahaa true that, but I prefer having USB Connectivity. Just leave it in the car and when you get in music plays :) Whereas AUX you got to plug in your phone which takes time and I'm lazy so I can't be bothered LOL. Btw VIP do you have a link to your progress thread? (If you have one) Interested in seeing your car :D
  8. I FIXED IT!!!!!!!!!! It was a pretty simple fix and a stupid mistake. So I noticed that when you lock the boot with the key. You can turn it so that the key slot is either vertical or horizontal, and when it's horizontal the boot lid pull in the car won't work. So all I did was turn it back from horizontal to vertical and WO LA! IT WORKED! Maybe try that Van?
  9. Hahaha but that's because I got experience man. I used to have a Honda Prelude. Took that apart bit by bit, installed parts inside and out and ye pretty much learnt the basics of how to disassemble a car and where to find the screws and clips and such.
  10. Will do when I have time though. Won't be until a few days.
  11. So haven't updated my progress thread for a few days now but this is what I've done to it so far. So I finally got around installing my rear reversing camera. It came free as a gift when I bought my head unit and some guy quoted me $250 to get it fitted. To be honest it was a pretty easy installation, At first I wasn't too sure how to take the kick plates off (I think they're called that) and stuff, but saw a similar tutorial on an older camry where they just pushed it up using a screw driver and it just popped off. The only mistake that I did make was that some of the clips got stuck and I snapped one or two. Also I plugged the camera video feed into the wrong port, but other than all was good :D I also got a new muffler installed on Wednesday because I wanted a little noise. So what I got done was I got my old muffler taken off and then got a new Lukey muffler that has similar functions to the varex where the valve opens and closes, but the only difference with the Lukey is that it opens up completely only when you give it some gas. I also got a 4" tip which actually fits the space and looks unnoticeable :) O and a random decal :D
  12. Not to sure man. I'll check it with a buddy of mine this weekend or something and see what happens, but at the moment everything is moving and in place, but I think there is this one wire that is loose and that's what I think is not allowing the trunk lid to open.
  13. So ye the title says it all I'm not to sure what the difference is and what different types of mufflers are like. Can anyone provide me some clarification?
  14. Gay.....so its just a normal fault? Or is it because I screwed it up?
