i got a 4ac motor in my ae82, and i have put H.I.D lights in it and have H.I.D driving lights as well as a sub and amp. i think the alternator is to small after some research iave discovered that my 4ac is has a 55 amp alternator, and baiscally i would like ateast a 70 amp, (minimum)and an 80 amp if possible, but the issue is this the 4age alternators do not go on to the 4ac motors. and my queston for this is.... is there any way i can make this fit without to much modifications? or if not, what alternators WILL fit my car?

i have an 87 ae82 corolla SOHC with a 4A(l)C carby motor . it needs shocks, and i am thinking of getting it springs as well. i live in Australia i am having endless trouble finding a set (front and rear,or either) for this particular model. Just wanting to know if any other shocks and springs will fit this car? like will the AE92 front and rears fit my car? and are the shocks and springs meant to be quiet soft in these cars?i know thats what they are like when they are buggered,but i dont know if they are like that new? And also do you know if the shocks and springs from overseas (japan,usa) will fit in the aussie types of these cars?

hi all my name is Stephen i brought an 87 AE82 corolla hatch and want to put HID lights in it i went to get the light bulb out to check what type of bulb it is (good things its only one bulb instead of two bulbs per side lol),but couldnt get it out,so i looked in the manual and it does not say what the bulb type is i am wanting to know what type of bulb it is as i do not know if it is a h3 or h4 bulb.so anyh help will be greatly appreciated and as the HID bulbs come in either 55watt or 35 watt,what is the best one to put into them, i know i cant put 55 watts HIDS in my V T commodore because they have plastic lenses,but the corolla looks to have glass lenses. thank you all in advanced Stephen
