  1. Hey Alonso the car looks awesome. I was looking at putting a set of 19's on my 2011 Sportivo but have been told not to do it. What I was told is that the inside edge of the rear tyres wears real quick (within 6000k) because they cannot get a decent camber adjustment on the rear. How are your tyres going so far and can anybody tell me........ A) if what I was told is true and B) where can I get a hold of some camber adjuster kits
  2. Hi Khaled, I am new to this place as well. I can help with some of ya questions. I used to work for Toyota doing parts for 5,1/2 years. With the screen for the r/camera, if you want to stay with genuine, the only option is to go for the complete Toyota Sat-Nav package. This is a whole complete new stereo head unit. There is a bit involved with fitting (more fiddley and time consuming than anything) but easy to do. Down side is, from memory you are looking at just under 4k. With the motor swap, wont happen as it will cost you tooooo much money to do. TRD changed a few things when they bolted on the SC. Diff engine ECU, brakes, injectors act-ect-ect. Even if you pick up an engine complete with harness, ECU and so on, will still cost a heap to bolt it in, but it will fit. I have put some feelers out to various people about SC kits for my Sportivo, but nothing back yet. I am getting about 600k out of a tank on standard unleaded with 70% of that around town.No need to run Premium at all.
  3. Sorry my bad..... When I say "scrub out" I am referring to the tyre wear (about 15mm of the inside tread is wearing badly within 6000km) The person I was speaking to, claims they are not able to get enough camber adjustment on the rear tyres. The TRD's are not as bad as apparently they are running a slightly diff set up on the rear with regards to alignment.
  4. Hello everyone. This is my first post. I have just bought a 2011 SX6 Sportivo with 25000km on the clock. It is running the standard 17in rims at the mo. I am shopping around for a set of 19's. I have been told to stay away from the 19's, (245/35/r19)as when they are fitted, they will scrub out the inside edge of the rear tyres. However, if I go to an 18in rim(235/45/r18)there is no problem with the tyre wearing out. Has anybody heard or had this problem with their car at all, or is the sales chap talking sh!t? Cheers.
