  1. nice, wut wus the cost of the exhaust sys if you don't mind me asking and where did you get it done?, prob do sumfing like that when I inter cool mine wut I meant by the thrashing / idling was that when u disconnect the battery and then drive ... were you with in the learning period of a) driving hard B) idling for a period of time ..... cause this would give you a false reading wut I was interested in seeing wus the actual intake area ... is it taking too much hot air into the system from being too close to the radiator, but wut you have done is wut most have done, if too much hot air is being taken in then it could cause the system to either run rich OR lean and resulting in the high fuel consumption
  2. yeah these cars have an adaptive system, meaning if you disconnect the battery looses it's memory, you then have to re-train the system, i.e. if give it heaps after you do this for about 50 K's then the system learns the way you drive and reacts accordingly, but 14L/100 km's is a little high, are you thrashing it / idling for long periods Some pics would be nice of wut you have done with the intake and exhaust I am thinking of inter cooling my TRD with a truck air dam ;), I'll post some pics when I decide to do this, my illustrious mech is going to do this ...
  3. lol dude ........... I will let it go for 12K but with out the Kappa mags and no rego
  4. Hey dude I have a 2006 ZR6 with 74K km's which I'm about to sell PM me if you want a squizzy or have any questions ..... I also live in the ACT
  5. NP Timbo, no I've never had any probs with injectors and prob put a bottle thru every 3 months not just as a precaution but to keep em in good working order and lines clean of any moisture, but I would try it first, bit cheaper then replacing OR having them bench cleaned, try it a few times each time on a 1/4 tank You can even try 1 ltr of Methylated Spirits in a full tank first..........Metho will also clean the injectors and remove any moisture in lines the same as Interject but not as good, but might just do the trick and not expensive ^_^ I buy it from National Capital Motors [i think Mazda dealership?], there the lic dealers for Interject here in Canberra for approx $8 a bottle
  6. interject is the best stuff to use http://interject.com.au/ ........... When first doing this use 1 bottle in approx 1/4 tank
  7. I have my ZR6 insured with aami and when I purchased the TRD I moved the insurance at no extra cost, told them about the strut bar and the 23 mm rear sway bar and they said NP....no extra cost wut so eva
