  1. Very easy mate to change. It feels good knowing you are putting the right oil in the engine. I have done mine. I have used valvoline 10w-40 semi syn and a ryco platinum oil filter that i have to change engine oil at 5k.
  2. I recently changed the ATF on my car with DeX 3 but I cannot find any RYCO filter for my next change. Does this car have a metal filter/strainer or other filter kits for Auto Transmission?
  3. Thanks for the input guys. I have been quoted $600 with the kit but no Water pump and if I get them to check the pulley and bearing and drive belts may cost more. Also on another topic regarding oil Viscosity, I am going to use Valvoline 10w-40 but I think I need higher viscosity due the engine is 242000km old and the engine seals may not cope with any lower viscosity. by the way guys I am a recent convert to Toyota from my little Astra.
  4. Thank for this info guys. I am a Newbie here. My 2003 v6 Sportivo has done 242000km and the last timing belt change was sept 2008 at 161000km. They say timing belts on these cars last for 150k. should i go by years or follow 150kms? I am tempted to follow by years. What do you think guys?
