  1. All good now, easy fix. For anyone having this issue in the future, just disconnect the red wire with silver spots from the loom which connects into the drivers side tail light. This removes the fog light function from facelift tail lights which disables the orange fog-light indicator light from the dash cluster but still allows the use of the second brake light bulb holder in each tail light. :)
  2. Haha, thanks mate. Yeah, mine's a jap import Runx TRD Sports M with the 2ZZ...thought mine was the same as the AU Sportivo but not to be, sorry for the confusion haha. So it's the rear fog light dash icon, probably no big deal then aye...easiest fix would be to remove the bulb from the cluster then I'm guessing? Cheers for the reply Kenshin X :) Edit: dash photo added (and yes it's auto/tiptronic on steering wheel haha):
  3. Hey guys...have just completed this mod to my '04 facelift Sportivo and looks great...but...I now have an orange coloured warning light on my dash when ever the brake pedal is pressed, can anyone shed some light to what's the cause and how to sort it? Here's a pic: Cheers all ;) W
  4. Great, thanks for the feedback guys. Temperatures here in Auckland will range from 2 deg C to around 30 deg C. Will the 5W-30 be ok to use throughout that temperature range?
  5. Hey guys My name's Warwick form Auckland NZ I've just purchased a 2004 Corolla RunX Z TRD Sports M with tiptronic transmission. I've been a member of ACNZ (Altezza club of Australia & NZ) for a while now, have owned a kouki & zenki RS200 Altezza (among other Toyota's over the years) and have decided to part ways with my '02 Tez and give the RunX a go. Looking at giving it a fresh oil change shortly and have had mixed info on whether I should be using 5W-30 or 10W-30. Always ran the Tez's 3S-GE on 5W-30 and figure they are pretty similar high compression engines so should stick with that? Any input would be primo...also would be great to hear from anyone else with a TRD Sports M or knowledge on them. Cheers guys :P W
