  14. what you need: Aluminium sheet from you local Hardware shop, Tin Snips, piece of Cardboard (for template), couple of Screws Step One: Using a piece of cardboard as a template cut out the rough shape of the shroud. Step 2: Fold the cardboard in half and replicate the curve along the other edge Step 3: Trial fit the template and trim to fit neatly Step 4: Again fold the cardboard and cut along the line to give you a neat curve repeat as nessary Strp 5: Trace the template onto the Aluminium sheet marking off cuts Step 6: As neatly as possible use tin snips to cut out the Aluminium Step 7: Next using the cardboard template again mark out the holes to hold the shroud Step 8: Drill holes threw the Aluminium using the cardboard template Step 9: File down all the rough edges on the shroud making sure you DONT bend the Aluminium Step 10: Polish up the Aluminium using Autosol or similar product Step 11: Screw and bold the shroud threw your drilled holes Step 12: step back and admire your work now the shroud is a large blank space just waiting for you to apply your favourite sticker or to be painted to match any colour you want ASSESSMENT: The purpose of a Radiator Shroud is to direct all possable air flow into the radiator by stopping air from flowing over the top of it from the big factory hole. The net result should be that your car runs cooler. constructing a mod like this yourself is always worth the effort it neatens up your engine bay.. (copies can be found in the AUTOSALON Magazine issue 37)
